Isn't every new title required to be Pro Enhanced? This means nothing unless we know what kind of enhancement we're talking about. But I'm glad it's CONFIRMED.
Since the Pre-Order announcement, I get the feeling that we've finally reached the "news about nothing, but GTA is mentioned"-phase. Which means we're finally getting closer to the release.

Figured it was SP only.

GTA online will be where the real innovation will come and be a wild injection of cash for R* for a decade plus easy.

What point are they making? Cause I must be missing it. All I read of this was that the game will play best on the PS5 (platform). And that includes PS5 and PS5pro, right?

What other point is being made?

Read OP. It is not specifically about Pro, it is about the controller and whatever audio marketing BS they came up with, that, supposedly, the game will play better.

I went to read the OP twice before my last response to you... cause I legit thought I must have been missing something. I don't see how there is any kinda miscommunication. Hell, the marketing wordplay isn't even as grotesque as it could be since all they were doing was talking up PS5 features.

Which is why I asked, so I at least understand exactly what the issue was.

I added the detail as you answered.

I just think that stating it plays better because of whatever controller and audio features is a bit disingenuous, when we don't have actual comparisons on how it does play, meaning framerate and resolution.

But not surprised considering this is Sony.

Come on, man. Those 25 million iPhones in a month weren't sold just like that, and you know it. In my country, for example, most people don't have those kinds of payment options, yet it's still the best-selling smartphone.

Some NeoGAF users seriously underestimate consumerism and FOMO. It's crazy to see that argument being made about GTA VI of all things. I think it's irrational to believe that game won't absolutely explode and move consoles regardless of the price.

I don't know what country you are in, but yes this actually is how iPhones are usually sold in the US. And the majority of iPhones sold are in the US. People plan their upgrades around the release cycle every 2-4 years.

NeoGAF is full of consooooomers looking for any excuse to drop money on a new bauble and brag about it. The argument here is that most people who want GTA6 already own a PS5.

Oh... that's what you are talking about? Come on, man... that's just PR talk... and EVERYONE does it or would if given half the chance.

Like for real, what are they supposed to say? Everything they said, but then add but if you prefer an Xbox controller, you can always get it on Xbox too?

And if you are talking about framerate and rez... again, as far as consoles go, it will be best on the PS5. Because the Pro exists. So it's not a false claim. I feel you are reaching here, bro... or reading too much into all this.
 
Them marketing it as a single player experience tells me that the online component will be a separate piece of paid DLC or expansion. I wouldn't be surprised if they sell it for £60-70 either.
 
what the blog say about play best : (1) full use of duel sense features (2) tempest 3d engine to immersive audio experience (3) nearly no loading screen via PS5 SSD I/O. All these are about the special feature to make the gameplay more immersive.

No detail of PlayStation 5 Pro version info, may have a specific blog on pro version later (PSSR2.X, better ray-tracing, exclusive higher frame rate mode)

The thing I'm the most excited over is the integrated speaker with remarkable sound effects. Just that makes the wait worthwhile. Can't wait to hear the sounds!

I would be curious to see what would happen if Xbox said the game Plays Best on Xbox though.
