Yep ... Took the words out of my mouth. The colors actually remind me of the Black Flag Remake and it looks very similar in quality overall to me. If this is what 1 billion budget (or however much they spent) gets you ... again, not impressed.

You can use whatever picture you want, doesn't change the fact that I'm not impressed and I don't particularly see why people that are in contact and up to date with recent releases are. There's nothing there I haven't seen before. It's not bad mind you, but not impressive either. The words "WOW" haven't left my lips or have even been formed in my head. It's what I'd expect of a polished 2026 AAA game, nothing more, nothing less.

Maybe some path tracing on PC will be transformative, but for now, these screenshots are just good.

If this is what Rockstar needs to do to have a populated/living world then it is worth it. Nobody is even attempting to make a game of this scale. The amount of moving parts is absurd to compare to any other game in existence

Well, I'm not talking about RDR2, that has its own look, I'm talking about these screenshots. Me not being impressed by GTA screenshots says nothing about my feelings on RDR2 or R*'s past performance. I'm only judging these screenshots versus what's currently out there and that's it.
