I don't see anyone buying the game at all now.
I don't even have an issue with them requiring you to download the game regardless... but come on, at least put in the disc, do it like Nintendo does.I sure hope no disc is a temporary measure to avoid leaks. They can go fuck themselves if there's no disc version at all.
An extra disc costs about a $1 for them to source/press, I'd be perfectly fine with them up charging the physical by $5-10 if there's 2-3 discs, rather than no physical at all.
"Ultimate Edition"Am i reading wrong or there are stores and jobs in the game that will only exist on the Premium edition?
That is not the discussion in this thread and that is now the least of their problems imoDo you remember when millions of users were saying that the standard version of GTAVI was going to cost $100?
In the end, it turns out it costs the same as any other game.
How many people have made money from the constant misinformation and clickbait on social media?
This is not even remotely the same and you know it.How does a physical edition still be called a physical edition when all it has is a piece of paper telling you to go online and download the game?
Well.. I guess if Nintendo can be allowed to get away with it, then why not everyone else?
No disc in physical.
Eat my whole fuckin ass, Rockstar. Y'all were so damn good about physical having the whole thing on disc and now you give us this shit.
We don't know but a video tomorrow is also a real possibility tbh.Pre-ordering a game whose gameplay you haven't even seen yet, just so you can pre-load it a week in advance? No wonder people laugh at gamers.
This is bullshit on another level. Most interesting detail is that the Ultimate Edition contains shops and locations that are seemingly only open for business if you have the Ultimate Edition.
It's why I believe the disc drive will be an optional peripheral from day 1. I doubt there will even be a bundle with it being sold. This is how many PS6 games will launch, death of physical media is near.
Highly unlikely you will be able to sell the code on, I dont think I have seen a single case of being able to sell a code on from a game. Can you sell the code on or is it a one time use?
You can'tHow do I resell my physical copy?
If 100$ version has early access it's going to sell 80/20 versus the standard one easily
Can you sell the code on or is it a one time use?
How do I resell my "physical" copy?
What physical copy? How do I resell my "physical" copy?

Its my mistake to praise Rockstar. All western publishers (Ubisoft, EA, Microsoft, Rockstar) are doing this. Not just 1st party. Plenty of 3rd party games require no day 1 patch. This includes most JRPGS and even some western publishers like Rockstar (not the online portion ofcourse). A lot of games can be played without day 1 patch. I am not really interested in whatever companies like Ubisoft and ActiBliz make anyway.
Game's so big it won't fit on two discs.
Just wait for the complains when you need 512GB of space just for the download.
And for the "server crashed" news.
Spoilers is probably the least of their worries. Its obvious they don't want spoilers out there beforehand
they also dont want you selling your copy and cannabalizing another sale
There's a limited amount of codes that they can print...Then why pre-order if it's all digital?
I'm guessing the Pro set the stage for what the PS6 will be: A digital only SKU with the attachment sold seperately( and the current disc drive no doubt won't fit it). It's why I believe the disc drive will be an optional peripheral from day 1. I doubt there will even be a bundle with it being sold.
Lol NO.... Now the Game Key cards and game key discs are looking like amazing deals compared to codes in a box...I'm sure the people whining about game-key cards will totally complain about this too, right?
