They put an uncapped mode that hoovers around 110-115fps
They just released RE7, RE8 and RE9 on Switch 2. Also a bunch of other games between now a November. Capcom needs to give Switch 2 owners time to actually buy and play these games.Man RE2R and RE4R take like an eternity to come on switch 2 isn't it? I'm starting to be worried how they will run if it take so much time for Capcom.
RE2R, RE3R and RE4R are a lot more demanding games. None of them runs at stable 60 fps on ps4. More likely they try to figure out how to make them to an acceptable fps average or they are waiting to become more experienced on Switch2. Hope RE9 on switch 2 won't be their best performance target possible for such ports, because it runs awful in different spots and the new mode shows it dramatically; Pragmata is the limit of worst performance which I can tolerate personally by Capcom on Switch2.They just released RE7, RE8 and RE9 on Switch 2. I would expect them to release RE2, RE3 and RE4 close to RE Veronica next year.
7, 8 and 9 came first, as those were the first three RE games they worked on for Switch 2.RE2R, RE3R and RE4R are a lot more demanding games. None of them runs at stable 60 fps on ps4. I can guarantee you performance is not an issue with why they haven't released these games yet.RE2R, RE3R and RE4R are a lot more demanding games. None of them runs at stable 60 fps on ps4. The major problem is you can guarantee also they will runs at acceptable performance unfortunatelyI can guarantee you performance is not an issue with why they haven't released these games yet.
They put an uncapped mode that hoovers around 90-100fps
I think this is a super interesting mode because it does kind of offer some insight to the power of the S2 over the PS4, as the S2 version is essentially the old Gen version.
For reference, both PS4 and S2 are 1080p with TAA (correct me if im wrong on that), but the S2 uncapped hovers in the 75fps range in the worst case, with the PS4 version at 30-ish fps in the worst case. It almost seems to scale linearly. Not always double the fps, but the Switch 2 always commands around a 40fps lead over PS4. It does indicate that even when features like DLSS arent used, there is a significant performance gap between the two systems. S2 is a decently stronger system when games are optimized for it.

We have the developer literally stated that the Switch 2 is closer to the Series S, but many refused to accept the truth.I think this is a super interesting mode because it does kind of offer some insight to the power of the S2 over the PS4, as the S2 version is essentially the old Gen version.
