Eight hours later, that was some of the most heinous shit I've ever listened to. The ineptitude and corruption of the UK government, and its institutions, cannot be overstated and the fact that no one in the UK, no one on the left, no feminists, are talking about this makes my blood boil.

There are a bunch of frauds out there that don't give a shit about children, or pedophiles, and the fact they won't touch this story with a ten foot pole proves as much.

This is bad. Really, really bad. Instead of forcing parental controls to be on at all devices, or teaching parents how to set up parental controls, they are limiting free speech.

Forcing parental controls and making them powerful enough to be used to interact with all these websites would have been a better solution in terms of privacy and largely served the goal if that were the true goal instead of forcing through a digital ID on people.

I can't stop thinking about this.

Honestly I feel this is censorship.

I think they are trying to keep kids from hearing anything but the approved political message.

They are trying to stop the signal. It feels Orwellian. GAF is social media. Of course there are certain things not allowed(like things not allowed on gaf) but to think someone would be cutoff from like the CCU thread or the OTs because of a broad ban on all social media.....that is pretty dark.
