Don't be so harsh on him, he does the best summaries for us. He is a hero.

This is the path that Phil sent them on, He saw these studios making the games they did and was so desperate to be seen as the good guy that he let them burn mountains of money to release games that he knew wouldn't move the needle

I see Microsoft are trying to find a buyer for Ninja Theory... Given they nearly were part of Sony many years ago, I can see PlayStation approaching the studio like...

You WILL make Heavenly Sword 2. And then I will sit back and watch a grateful universe play your game...

Shocking that they close a studio that spent a decade of doing 5 hour walking simulators.

Asha knows whats going on
….. they paid $117m for Ninja Theory who had a year prior released Hellblade……

That's 'Asha knows what's going on' is it? Buy a studio that makes walking sims and then close the studio because they…. make walking sims?

She didn't buy the studio, she is taking the hit for Phils colossal fuck ups

When Matthew Ball, the new CSO, was asked on why Senua was being released on multiple platforms, he gave a sharp response: "No comment."

Question is - why even announce a title you knew would be cancelled a few days later?

We are witnessing the consequences brought from 10+ years of west coast developers chasing a demographic that doesnt play console games. This is their own fucking fault.
So, because of that we should celebrate the clausure of a game studio.. JC… Amazing that video games is the hobby of some of you…

Good question

I am sure Jez Corden will answer it at some point, in a sort of deflect any responsibility kind of way.
