Youtube has been hiding dislikes for a few years now and you need an extension to see them. The extensions utilizes estimates rather than the actual number of dislikes which causes some to cope arguing math doesn't exist.

They are an approximation that has been proven to be somewhat inaccurate by content creators showing the dislike data for their own channels.

But just like CCU and it's inaccuracies, people will use it anyway to bolster a point.

Crimson Desert is still failing as a game due to a 35k CCU right now.

Those comments are lighthearted fun anyway, and I think that's what he was pointing out as 'fake', along with their large number of likes.

It's one of those GAF bubble moments. Or maybe conspiracy theorist notion. Not sure which.

The point is that people will continue to say 'this must be wrong' about the game's reception until the game releases and the sales numbers come out.

Then it's either tens of threads to celebrate failure...or cope, number crunching, and finally absolute silence if it sells good.

Rinse and repeat for the next game that causes this level of discourse.

Still has more likes than dislikes so the reception was not concord terrible but might underperform compared to both previous GoWs. Will see as the PS5 install base is pretty big by now.

Like to dislike ratio represent general satifaction about a product among ppl that watched the trailer. If previous product had a 98% positive like to dislike ratio and new product has 70%, then you can expect a decrease in sales compared to previous product. GoW IP is just massive. Ragnarok sold 5 millions in the 1st week. I bet Laundry will not reach 5m as fast.

Thats not true at all… For me is not an issue, i am going to buy the game day 0, at the end i really don't care on how a video game character looks if the game is good… But shitting on your loyal fanbase giving them something they don't want because a weird political philosophy is going to have a negative impact on how the game is going to perform when it comes to sales, and dislikes is a good indication of that.

The extensions use estimates and specific algorithms based on users who also have the extension.

Generally the vast majority of users who use said extensions are the ones who like to Dislike war, and of course those who Dislike are more likely to have the extension in the first place.

Thus skewing any number that the extension gives as a result.

Sorted by popularity, excluded react re-uploads and only scrolled down to 100k views, there may be some more re-uploads that don't show up but they're too insignificant.
