BELIEVE!!
I like Mario and Zelda games but Monolith Soft and Fire Emblem is my biggest reason why I buy Nintendo systems.

I'm not a big fan of BOTW-Zelda so I actually am partially with you. Xeno and FE are more interesting to me than Zelda currently is, but Mario is still a big draw for me.

i hope it is atleast better than the Xbox show. the only thing there that interested me was Gears E-day and P4 remake and P6 teaser.

what i want to see, a next gen Zelda, Pokemon, Metroid. and some new cool IP preferably something more mature themed that is original.

edit: or as someone else said a new Xenoblade

The big announcement is going to be Ocarina of Time remake, don't expect a new 3D Mario announcement.

Maybe they will FINALLY announce Hi-fi Rush for Switch and Switch 2! It was rated for the system earlier this year so maybe there's still hope...

I'm not too familiar with how Nintendo handles remakes. Do they do big budget ones. Should we expect OOT being as big as a new entry?

why dont we think something wild, like super metroid in metroid prime FPS engine
just kidding, i would like new monolith rpg we heard for long but no update at all

Will be interesting to see what Nintendo has in store, and this isn't even marketed as a partner Direct.

Because of the Nintendo Today! App, Nintendo has been dissolving some of the annual Directs and just releasing it as separate events over the course of the year. But I guess they are going to keep doing the June 'NotE3' (JunE3) edition, as well as the third/ fourth quarter event?

Every Nintendo direct, I always have a hope that they'll do something with Mother 3 in the west. I know it's fan translated, I know it can be emulated. That's not really the point. I have a English reproduction GBA cart of it. I played it through to completion. I just want Nintendo to give that game the recognition it deserves. It really lived up to the hype, and it's fantastic.

Man I'm excited for this one. Lots of potential, and we are pretty much guaranteed news about Fire Emblem and a Duskbloods update. Hoping for a great showing tomorrow.

I think the best way to do this is to put the announcement in the NSO segment. It'll be great publicity for NSO lol

There is an supposed leak for one game and it's an like an new NES Remix game. Probably not the exact same, but the same general idea with a lot of new games for the challenges.

If they ever do something, it probably will be something anti-climatic like that. My dream would be like a fancy boxed set of the Mother series. I know, I know. I'm dreamin'

It's a stretch but I'd love to see a Bayonetta reboot or Astral Chain spin-off.
Bowser's Fury was incredible to me; a full Bowser's Fury game would also be great.
I'm still all-in for a Smash Bros Musou game.

After Sony's poor showing and Microsoft's showing however you feel about it. Nintendo really needs to drive this direct home and set-up the rest of the year, bring out some big guns and bury the competition. I suspect they won't and will be pretty calm about it all. Hold nothing back.

All I want is Monolithsoft new game

A New Xenoblade Chronicles game
Xenoblade Chronicles X2
New JRPG IP

But I'm not a fan of the rumor that they are working on Zelda. Even if it's a spinoff Action JRPG, I would still be disappointed

Now that SquareEnix has gone full Multiplatform, I wonder if they are gonna to annouce more HD Remasters at this Nintendo Direct. If they do, I'm hoping for both Valkyrie Profile games getting remastered but if not than I'm fine with them annoucing other games that are getting the remaster treatment

I'm looking forward to all the new games, but I'm also really interested in additional switch 2 patches for older games.

Would be great to get Xenoblade and Pikmin patches.

I get that, but I'd still be interested in their take on it. Although the combat would have to be more active than the standard Xenoblade system for my taste. But that's why I'm hoping they are doing something other/different than a new Xenoblade entry. So my vote is for number 3, a new JRPG IP with active, real time combat.

Eh, I think both Nintendo and Monolithsoft are happy with the current situation. At most, Monolithsoft is only helping to create and design the map for Zelda.

Technically, they've made an action game

Pretty sure they'll show the Zelda OOT remake.
Want to see a Fatal Fury City of The Wolves for Switch 2 announcement, just for Kenshiro + season 3 announcement.
I really want to see something about Smash, I hope it's in the works, they don't even need to add them all this time, but I hope to see some changes in the battle system, so it won't feel the same.
A new Switch 2 exclusive 3D Mario game, I'd prefer a brand new game but I have a feeling it will be Odyssey 2.
Oh and there'll probably be shadow drops, hope for something good.

Don't get me wrong I am looking forward to the Starfox remake, but I can't help thinking a new entry would have been just as easy to make, perhaps they are working on a new one as well. Same with Ocarina.. we have already had a 3DS revision just like Starfox... too much filler from Nintendo here...

Of course it will get revealed and I will be as much as a sucker for it as everyone else... but still....

Saw that in an essay video about Monolithsoft and their games, but that's not my kind of game. J(action)RPG from them with a huge, nicely designed open world like Zelda BotW/TotK (just more intricate and detailed) but with their signature storytelling/worldbuilding/characters would be more to my taste.
