I think that is often part of the scam, to drag it out so they don't have to give a refund. But like I said earlier in the thread - I have gotten stuff from Aliexpress for free a couple of times - the first when after waiting close to a month I filed a refund and then received the package another two weeks later. The second they literally canceled my order saying they couldn't fulfill it - item showed up anyway a couple of weeks later.

I would go ahead and file, this type of scam is drawn out to run out the return/refund clock with the retailer/credit card company.

Often they go through a third party reshipper once they arrive in the US as well, and can sit with them for awhile.

That's what always happened to me when I used to order stuff from AliExpress. Some of those third party companies are absolutely terrible.

My guess is it's a computer with the same/ similar case but the hardware inside will not be matching spec. Question is, how much effort they went through to hide the different specs.
