Personally as a programmer I've been over since day one. However it's kind of sloppy to put a trailer in one of the most important gaming conventions that are left nowadays including placeholders. Eventually they will release trailers done with AI entirely if people stop caring about placeholders. Or maybe they already have, at least parts of it...

I don't usually comment on such crap but last night, when I was watching the trailer live, I immediately noticed how weird this character looks. Grown up female body and a kid's head. In that zoomed in scene particularly, I couldn't tell if she's a boy or a girl, usually that can happen when you look at 10-12 year olds. If that's not weird to people, fine. I don't want to be crude but "I can't fap to this". If you can, more power to you I guess.

It's probably that anime style being made hyper realistic that adds to the weirdness, for me.

I said earlier in this thread that she looks like a young adult in the vast majority of the trailer and the only scene (which you also included here, because you are desperate) where she looks younger is your very first screenshot on the top left. Light and angles do that sometimes, though.

also I did it with the same prompt with GPT and excluded the "bad" angle, and yes it's very reliable at facial recognition. Not far off from Gemini. Would love to try Grok by I don't have xitter.

So in every shot she is seen as a teen to young adult, so nothing has really changed. Neither of us is right here, because it's subjective, but the people calling her "a child" and others Pedos that need their hard drives checked are retarded. You all make it weird.

I want generative AI in my games. Not only do I 'not care' I very much want games made with ai gen. At worst it's arbitrary, at best it gets me my game quicker and I get to see some cool robot art instead of the same ole human slop.

I predict most people are really like me and/or too oblivious to tell a difference. Especially if you include worldwide population. Frankly I'm surprised at the human reaction. I have never been able to lie to myself to make myself feel better. I think that is why I jump to acceptance so quickly.

R4 Ridge Racer's opening sequence is one of my favorites from that generation.

The more complaining and campaigning the haters do, the bigger the game will get, if the whining ends up on the view it will sell 12 million copies. You heard it here first. If Sony bans it from PSN but it stays on steam it will destroy Sony. Haters should be very careful of the Streisand effect, which may be what the developers were going for partly. This is a video game not a porno and it can be legally sold and people can choose not to buy it. Anything else is collective shout debanking imho.
