Graphical Fidelity I Expect This Gen

Laugh Lmao GIF

Door texture returns with revenge!

The sort of futuristic game worlds I dream of, I only wish we were at the point where they're not just backdrops or generic open worlds, but fully explorable, living, breathing worlds with gameplay tied into them.
makes you wonder why not a SINGLE dev has tried it so far. Companies and studios all over the world explore all sorts of Shenanigans and stupid concepts but the ones that everybody obviously craves for

Same.

Cyberpunk, but x100. I don't think it could be possible with traditional development, would take 20 years. Maybe with the help of AI.

Seems like they phoned it in for FFVII Revelation, UE4 look, flat lighting, pop-in, low quality textures and assets.

Was really hoping they'd hold off a couple years and upgrade the tech.

Then why does it look like a ps4 cross Gen game.

Fire cuckman. Send him to the moon. 6 years and nothing to show for it? Get fucked loser. Garbage.
not in cutscenes at least but yes barely any better than TLOU2
but then again, its ND, we haven't seen enough and I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt

if they are to fire him, they need to lay off Barlog's team and himself included.

it was a good show, Geoff got lucky this year, I am gonna go rewatch the first few trailers, especially CrossFire
God bless UE5 and the upcoming UE6 for enabling competent indie devs to put Sony's misguided management to shame

Sony are so far behind in graphics if the best looking games at summer game fest look anything like the trailers

Blood message, clutch, gen atlas, stellar blade 2 and Crossfire are the best games showed today, and I think those who run on pc are UE6 titles specially stellar blade 2, we will know for sure on next unreal show

Jesus, Final Fantasy looked drab and dated as fuck, but I mean it was expected. Still, I'm bracing myself for that "seamless" world exploration.

RE looked really good, Stellar Blade surprisingly too, lol, didn't even finish the 1st one. Alien was also looking good, although he didn't quite make out too much, liked the Xeno very much though, but needs more drooling.

Forgot about gen Atlas, looking interesting, but I think its strengths are the atmosphere and art style.

It has to run on Switch 2 and Xbox Series S unfortunately.

they are becoming the new Ubisoft, misguided, complacent and out of touch with their fans and the world, and DEI-stricken to boot
And yet despite all that, Ubisoft at least delivered Next Gen looking games like avatar, Star Wars outlaws, AC shadows and ac black flags

That ultra muddy Revelation visuals are disturbing, like what the hell? They even ruined the great character models they had had for years.

true. but I wouldn't let them off the hook so soon, they managed to release those games by toying around with and cancelling a lot of their own IPs, old and new titles.
BG&E, Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell , all of which still reportedly in development[hell] and we know what that means.
I am still naively optimistic and keeping my fingers crossed for a Splinter Cell reveal in MS's show

It's weirdly inconsistent. The right half of this image looks fantastic. The left has the most PS4 aah cliffs.
Hence why I said visual style, graphically the game still looks kinda rough in certain places. Look at the background of this one.
And the framerate also looked choppy as hell.

Blood message looks fucking cgi level
it will be the complete game if they handle the story tastefully and make it appealling to the western audience, AND, most importantly, IF it has the TLOU2 level of motion matching it displayed in the trailer

I just noticed something, suddently TW4 doesn't seem that impressive anymore, unless it avoids downgrades, add upgrades where it can until release and have much MUCH better gameplay this time around
my graphics list so far includes ILL, Crossfire and Veronica. and of course GTAVI

AND if it's an actual game. Getting major Hellblade 2 vibes with that one

Stellar Blade 2 is the new graphics benchmark. Insane how it looks, legit CGI.
It indeed looks amazing, however, as pointed out by others earlier, it might not be explorable at all. it would still be visually stunning though. [similar to NOBODY WANTS TO DIE]
KZ:SF did something similar with its prologue back in 2014. An opening vista that dropped jaws but was not fully explorable [only a small obserable section of it as you were flown on rails onto a rooftop if my memory serves]
A new Dues Ex or The Ascent with those graphics would be the ultimate experience

If someone told me Stellar Blade: Blood Rain is PS6 title, I would believe it's true.
might as well be, we don't know the release date, could be years off
