ILL and Judas. I hope too see both games on SOP
That's what I'm hoping for too. I know the most recent update on ILL was a Sony blog from a few months ago, so I want to believe the possibility is high. Same with Judas, I'd like to think we'll at least get a release date this year.

Everything else mentioned in the OP list I feel like is up in the air, haha. I'll be surprised if any of those come up.

I thought that KOTOR and Bioshock 4 were both canceled?
It just migrated from Aspyr to Saber. So, technically it being done by Aspyr is canceled, but it's still in development by Saber according to Tim Willits.

With Bioshock 4, the head of Take Two has claimed it IS still coming... at some point.

If we see KH this gen it'll be a miracle. Prey 2017 has me interested in BioShock 4. I just hope some of IG devs made their way over to Cloud Chamber. Clockwork Revolution also looks promising. Releasing this year? No idea.

I'll give the Clockwork guys credit and leave them off of the list because they recently re-revealed the game (with gameplay shown) last year and they keep showing more footage over time.

It's odd, I've never heard of most of these games at all. I feel like some of these, particularly the ones announced a decade ago, they're absolutely most assuredly either canceled or development has been completely rebooted several times, which means a soft cancellation of sorts.

I'd like to see Light No Fire, Dragon Quest 12 and Bloodstained 2. I'm curious about the Max Payne remake, but I can't say I have much faith in the project as MP2 is the last Remedy game I loved.

Which gaming news channel or site do you follow? And do you tune in to the big showcases?
I don't follow any of them anymore, and no I don't tune into the big showcases at all anymore, not for a very long time. This thread is a perfect example of why I don't actually. I imagine it's disappointing to follow a game for ten years and get nothing.

I'm old man, and I'm immune to hype cycles. Last time I was really hype for a game that was canceled was Starcraft Ghost, and I learn my lessons well.

I understand what you mean, I will say though that I made this thread more for fun than for mourning. I find it fun to see the over/under on what games people think will show up.

For example the Riot MMO currently having zero votes is interesting to me.

That's fair. I think it's fine to feel excited for a fresh new project, but just not to a degree that someone's disappointment will be massive if the game never comes out.

Dragon Quest and Kingdom Hearts are probably the only ones actually coming out on that list. Doubt we will see anything about them this year though. Actually, DecaPolice will probably come out too, weeb games have a built in audience.

Yep I feel like this as well. So many games come out I just play what looks fun now without worrying about what comes out in the future.

I guess the new Jet Set Radio doesn't really belong on this list because we don't actually even have a name for it? I'm definitely looking forward to more news on that too, though.

I feel like the max payne remakes should be on that list aswell...they were announced years ago.
I highly doubt that Remedy will show off anything for the Max Payne remakes until after Control: Resonant is released. Assuming it still comes out this year, maybe the MP remakes will be at the TGAs.

Of the 2 i am interested in, Bioshock 4 and Judas, neither, or they might announce a vague release date, meaning the year basically, but no way they will stick to it.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 - I think this is vaporware. But I recently played the HD Remaster of the first game and they added a couple of stuff that wasn't in the original game that hints to the sequel

Little Devil Inside - I've been following this game even before it was annouced at a Sony State of Play

The Last Night - Another one I've been keeping a close eye on ever since it was annouced. Wouldn't be surprised if this was quietly cancelled

The Wolf Among Us 2 - I hope this is still in development. The first one is still my favorite TellTale game and it's what got me into reading the comics

Bioshock 4 - Hope the setting is as unique and memorable as the one in Bioshock Infinite

Knights of the Old Republic Remake - Hope they are able to do a great job remaking the game. There was a lot of planets to explore and the twist I remember was really good

Star Wars Eclipse - I was interested in this game the moment it was annouced. I hope it's an adventure game set in the Prequel/High Republic Era

Dragon Quest 12 - I'm a bit iffy on this one but I'm taking a wait and see since I heard they want to take this entry into a mature direction whatever that means. We shall know tommorow if they do reveal it

Judas - Interested in seeing what the Creator of Bioshock can come up with

Deca Police - It's no Yo-Kai Watch 5 but everything I seen of this game looks good

Mass Effect 4 - This one is a wait and see. Have they learned from Dragon Age Veilguard where no one cares and want to see that certain stuff. Or is it once again gonna to be aimed at a certain group of people who don't buy their games. We shall see

Marvel 1943 - Looks like there's a good cast of characters you can play as. I'm glad it's looking likely that I can play as Captain America, Black Panther etc. I'm hoping a game that has more of an adventure feeling throughout

Monolithsoft new game - I'm hoping for a new JRPG IP but I would be fine with a Xenoblade Chronicle 5 or Xenoblade Chronicles X2. I'm not a fan of those rumors where they are making a Zelda game

Okami 2 - Huge fan of the first game and it's been awhile since the second game was officially announced. I'm interested to see how much progress they have made on the sequel

  • Beyond Good and Evil 2 - this game will never exist
  • Judas - it'll not release this gen
  • Kingdom Hearts 4 - we'll probably hear about it next year
  • Kotor Remake - this one will also not appear this gen
  • Light No Fire - this one could be shown tomorrow, we never know
  • Little Devil Inside - this one will appear with a release date out of nowhere and it'll be underwhelming as hell
  • Squadron 42 - nice joke
  • Bioshock 4 - try 5 years from now
  • Riot MMO - couldn't care less
  • The Last Night - another mistery
  • Wolf Among Us 2 - this one might be cancelled at this point
  • Star Wars Eclipse - Another one that it's basically cancelled, probably no one is really working on it
  • Jurassic Park Survival - don't know
  • DecaPolice - It's Level-5, they are inserting AI art crap on this one and it could release from 2027 to 2039.
  • Dragon Quest 12 - This one will probably appear tomorrow already
  • Project Awakening - also not this gen
  • State of Decay 3 - This one will probably appear this year in an xbox even
  • Marvel 1943 - I think this one will be cancelled as well
  • Splinter Cell Remake - It's Ubisoft, they'll keep delaying it until people don't care and then cancel it.
  • Motive's Iron Man - This one will appear this year
  • Mass Effect 4 - this one will take some years to appear
  • Marvel's Blade - they'll put it at the next gen
  • Max Payne Remake - not this year, only after GTAVI seismic launch starts to lose strength

Nice idea for a thread - you can just change 2026 to 2027 next year and not have to edit anything else.
