It's amazing it keeps going down so fast. Because the rating is heavily skewed to user count when it was 87%. There were a ton of reviews in the first couple weeks. Which means the small amount of recent reviews have already weighted it down 4%. Doesnt sound like a lot, but it is as it means recent reviews the past month are probably about a shitty 50% rating.
Kind of like MC and OC game scores. All it takes is a small number of 50/100 ratings that come out weeks later to blend in with all the 80/100 scores and that game's overall rating will drop 3-4% alone.

All time peak was launch day 88.3k. Today's peak at 17.1k is -71.2k or -81%
Today vs yesterday: 17.1k vs 15.2k (+1.9k or +12.5%)
Yesterday's low 4.5k. If the rate holds, low tonight will be 5k
Thu vs Thu: 17.1k vs 20.3k (-3.2k or -16%)
Alternate method to estimate peaks and valleys (ballpark ratios)
On normal weekdays, 3.3:1. For example, a peak 20k will have a low of 6k. For Fri/Sat, gamers stay up playing so the ratio is 2.5:1

Was quite an odd afternoon (NZ Time), hit 16.6K as predicted and started to go down, got down to around 16.2K then within 10 minutes shot up by almost 1K. Wasn't just the ads in fairness - they also sunset production of all existing models before they'd even finished designing the new range. They literally planned to have no new cars roll of the production line for something like 18 months. It was absolutely batshit.

I talk mad shit about Marathon but one of my legit favorite games as of late is an extraction shooter. Single Player though.
I'd love for this game to expand into co op. Also, I wouldn't mind if they offered a PVP mode. Though the devs have been pretty firm they don't want to do PVP. The game is hard enough as a single player game.
Devs already made their money, the budget was believable, they are growing the game out, and there is going to be a lot more content in the pipeline.

I dunno about that, they're burning a good 8mil/month on marathon...it's just such an insane level of waste. The entirety of Expedition 33 was <$10mil. The amount of AA games by small talented studios that could have been financed for the countless billions Sony has thrown at flopped or cancelled GAAS is simply maddening....and they have nothing but a massive hole in their finances to show for it (plus a damaged reputation, anaemic release schedule and pissed off playstation fans). Used to go to games all the time long time ago when they won almost every game and trophy. But only a handful of times the past decade. First time since they moved to a new arena a little out of town but still driving distance. Good seats, but $70? Geez. I remember when seats were $15! lol
If none of you have been to a box lacrosse game, it's awesome. Some weird quirks to the game, but good action, stick swinging, affordable. They whack each other with sticks and that's fair game. Similar to hockey but on foot with more ball control while a puck is always bouncing around. Dont bother watching field lacrosse, not the same. And way more boring.

They never, ever said something close to that in old interviews, just recently, because of Matrix 4, that piece of trash.
