I don't believe it's a reaction to Sony raising prices.Lenovo thinking that anyone would pay $1500/$2000 for their shitty handheld is fucking hilarious. They saw Sony raising the prices of the PS5s, and everyone scambling to get them before the price hikes, and thought "yeah, let's get in on that." Brother, no one bought it when it was normal price, ain't noone gonna buy it for $2000.
Probably not, I was just being reactionary.I don't believe it's a reaction to Sony raising prices.
Damn, who the hell buys this product at that price!?
Almost seemed like a "look what we can do" type of product with its hardware specs. No one. The product hasn't been available for weeks. Pretty sure they have ceased production. Lenovo's own site says it is no longer available. So a price increase on a discontinued product is pretty meaningless
Let's wait... It's not urgent.Just buy a laptop at this point. Or better yet nothing.
That is a pretty solid deal. 16GB of RAM is a bit low but hey, if it works for the Steam deck. I wonder if you could run Steam OS or Bazzite on this.Asus Rog Xbox Ally 16bram 512ssd on sale at costco for $499.
And you get 4 games for free: Starfield, Unknown 9: Awakening™, Lies of P, Warhammer 40,000™: Space Marine 2™
Far superior deal (for the price) if you have a costco membership.
You can. I have steam os installed on one (pretty much first thing I did when these came out). That is a pretty solid deal. 16GB of RAM is a bit low but hey, if it works for the Steam deck. I wonder if you could run Steam OS or Bazzite on this.

Lenovo hikes Legion Go 2 handheld gaming PC to almost $3,000 for 2 TB model — Handheld now costs more than AMD's Strix Halo devices despite relatively weaker Z2 Extreme chip
The 2 TB model used to cost $1,480 at launch.www.tomshardware.com

They are so full of themselves nobody is going to buy a Z2 Extreme PC Handheld for $3000 heck even the MUCH MUCH MUCH powerful GPD Win 5 with a Ryzen AI Max 395, 32GB of RAM and 2TB of Storage only goes for $2467 right now. What the hell is Lenovo doing?
I got my 32GB/1TB SSD version from BB in November for $679 on sale. I made out like a bandit. The base 16gb/512 SSD Legion Go S has increased in price from $649 to $1049...

Seems weird as hell to raise the price on something that is no longer being produced if they intend not to make more. Maybe they found a trailer full of them or something, idk. Price is ridiculous though. Are any of the other handheld current PC's getting ridiculous price increases? No one. The product hasn't been available for weeks. Pretty sure they have ceased production. Lenovo's own site says it is no longer available. So a price increase on a discontinued product is pretty meaningless
That model now being $200+ more than what the Go 2 high end model launched at ( OLED, Z2 extremem 32gb/1TB) is diabolical. The plot has been completely lost.I got my 32GB/1TB SSD version from BB in November for $679 on sale. I made out like a bandit.![]()
