I played Returnal on base PS5, I know how it looks like.

I still maintain most of the first game's success was owed to being a 1st party launch window title. I'm not sure a twilight years PS5 exclusive is going to do so hot.

It definitely gave it more exposure, but the game stands on its own for what it is.

The base version is a bit grainy to say the least. Not taking away from the game but the PC version does look way better in motion, or can. The pc version had stutter issues at one point not sure if that ever got fully resolved.

I played it using PS+ on PS5 and (later) Pro, I just wanted to see how it looks and runs.

I bought PC version when it launched, thinking that maybe I will like it - but no. So I just refunded it on steam.
