Was Starfox Zero that bad? The biggest culprit was the non intuitive controls that doomed the game and some pacing issues with the defusing bomb sequences with the R.O.B thingy from what I remember, it has been stuck on Wii U Nintendo didn't bothered porting it to Switch, any fans of that game here?

I picked it up a year or so ago and found the chief complaint of staring at both the tv screen and wii u pad for aiming being difficult to indeed be difficult but some people enjoy it for what it is. I think it's a pretty game with nice music.

That's kinda weird, didn't think they existed in the same universe (except in Smash I guess, but that has Sonic and Mega Man and Snake and shit). It's like if Link had suddenly showed up.

It's wild to me that they didn't want to keep this a surprise or something. I didn't personally care for the previous movie too much, though I loved the visuals. I'll probably watch this one too just to see what other nuggets they've got in there.

Pretty much, yeah. The first one as a movie is pretty meh, but it has beautiful looking animation and a crapton of references.
I expect this one will be the same.

I said in another thread it's "memberberries, the movie!" Along with Sonic, take that for what you will. I was at-least able to get through the first Sonic but the first Mario movie is like they wanted to make sure everyone knew it was a Mario film
