Unfortunately that specific example is an AI mishap due to her having no hair in the game.
That game cutscene has the actress's actual face, no alterations aside from the hair and makeup:

Some of these are pretty good. I wonder how much information from the game would you need to apply this to say Gamecube games with a model that's efficient enough would the depth buffer suffice. I guess HUD would be a huge pain.
