It plays PC games natively through Windows OS.
The Xbox BC is not native to the OS, it's an added extra that requires translation through (at least) additional hardware, and likely some form of software translation layer too.

Xbox brand could become the Game Center of Apple, but for Windows. Basically a UI for all user activity. Better yet, eternalize the name, make Xbox the AI used to help make games run better inside Windows. All that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I think the brand has a lot of life to it, but I think it could be better used as a branding of an experience rather than a dedicated machine. Maybe I'm wrong.
