The driver is not yet updated in my country.New fixed nvidia driver is out. Anyone brave enough to test the PT performance with it?![]()
How soon did they announce the RE7 DLC? It's not the same team but Ghost Survivors for RE2 and Mercs for RE4 came out like two weeks later. Really do hope there's something but a lot of the enemies in the game don't really fit Mercs and the level design is sort of lacking to be used for Mercs too.No news about post launch content like a merc mode is a real bummer. This game deserves it![]()
Tbf civilian zombies shouldnt even be a thing in RC, its 28y later, their bodies should have decayed long ago.Anyone else raised an eyebrow when they sawThe zombie BSAA troopers look like they were dead for months? I mean the infected in the care center looked in much better shape. Raccoon City civilians look appropriate in that level of decay, but the BSAA troopers' faces should look like the hospital staff's.
I can accept some kind of bullshit like the T-Virus creating enough energy in the host's cells to prevent them from completely decaying, but not the other thing I mentioned.Tbf civilian zombies shouldnt even be a thing in RC, its 28y later, their bodies should have decayed long ago.
That's where I'm at. It feels like "Resident Evil Remix"It's not gonna happen with how successful this game is, but I'm ready to move on from the current RE engine style of Resident Evil. RE7 and RE2R were a welcome reinvention, but at this point it feels like I've seen everything in Requiem a dozen of times already. We're now at the same point in time when the original pre-rendered concept and also the original action run of RE had concluded in favor of new gameplay.
Oh yeah

Four playthroughs cemented what I said after I was 5 hours into my *first* playthrough: this is a top 3 RE title. I'm actually redownloading Village now which I thought was very good but not nearly as good as 7, mostly want to play it in 3rd person though, never went back to it after that update released. Tempted to replay 7 and RE2R too, not likely in the short term but if there is a dry spell sometime this year maybe.
You've inspired me to do an insanity run.
You've inspired me to do an insanity run.
I would say try to get infinite ammo and/or the RPG before attempting it, lol.
Is it that difficult?
I finished that spider fight and just turned the game off when i got to the mini "mercenaries" modeSo uh, what the hell happened to this game after
Raccoon City? We arcade shooter now? What about those terrible set pieces with amateurish animations of the bike and what not? Gain points to kill zombies and collect rewards? Also, the graphics are so bad now?! What is this nonsense?
Wow! It's like the game went from a 9 to 6.
Papito how is the insanity mode? Very difficult? I am thinking to replay the game in this mode
Your pitch sounds like a completely different game. And you'll probably get your wish once these games stop selling gangbusters ... which doesn't seem to be anytime soon. But the 'one RE game per year' approach may actually cause saturation. We'll see. That's where I'm at. It feels like "Resident Evil Remix"
And it's all good stuff - some greatest hits even, but I've listened to this album a few thousand times in the past 5 years. It's hard to give proper credit where it's due bc I've done this all before.
Definitely time for another switch-up. I want to see them try their hand at dropping 90% of the supernatural elements - save them for the last act.
Some will cry blasphemy but it excites me to see big swings. Put a little Condemned flavor in there, turn the puzzles into investigations, and let me track down a killer in a city that looks like the opening act of this game, until - yes - zombies (almost shockingly) show up in the climax:
"Resident Evil …x….Exposure"
That's my elevator pitch.
It can get a bit unfair. It's kind of like RE3 Remake's Inferno difficulty, enemies are all basically 1 hit kills on you and you start seeing the stronger enemies way earlier and way more.
Eg the first Leon segment in Wrenwood has multiple very fast Blisterhead zombies.
So without infinite ammo it would be too hard then? Oof thats a bummer man
That sounds like piss poor effort at making difficulty balanced. It shouldn't require "cheats". RE7 madhouse and RE4R pro all were perfectly playable on higher difficulty.Highly recommend getting at least infinite ammo + revolver but ideally infinite RPG will get it done without too much hassle plus it's amusing one-shotting every boss lol.
I'm sure there will be folks who will stream "Insanity with knife only" type stuff eventually but I'm not about to spend hours butting my head against that kind of difficulty, lol.

Never said it wasn't possible, just gave my recommendation, I've done harder things in other games. Personally I feel I earned my "cheats" by speedrunning the game in 2h39 minutes without guides lol. That sounds like piss poor effort at making difficulty balanced. It shouldn't require "cheats". Fuck me.... You were Phil Spencer all along...
Nope, I don't like 1st person combat in RE games and there are section in Grace segment that made me glad I chose 3rd person perspective.Play this game and stick to the standard camera perspectives (Grace in 1st person, Leon in 3rd person).

To me telling choose 1st person is like telling me "hey do you want to make the gameplay worse for no reason?"
getting a little bit annoyed... I'm stuck at the bulldozer... killed about everything and looked in every room
I know I need the lungs inside the garage to put inside the body that I put the heart into, and I imagine the bracelet is the level two door access... but I just can't get out of the garage
I'm probably gonna have to Google it, but i'm gonna take a break before I lose patience... maybe give everything one more good look over later
While critics disliked the action-heavy era, the market told a different story. The massive sales of RE6—and the fact that its remaster moved another 4–5 million units—proves the series wasn't 'dying' or in need of a rescue. Data suggests a traditional RE7 would have sold just as well.add nothing to the series = revived the series
RE was pretty much done after 5 - 6, Capcom lost their mojo and the franchise was mocked for the "Michael Bay" level of insanity action, RE7 brought RE back to scary and survival horror BUT, ppl were too soft and too scared by the game and that was the reason given to make RE8 more action oriented. Also RE8 links to RE lore in general.
Also 7 and 8 are great games for starting and ending a fucking story line, not taking 30 years and we are still on T-Virus Umbrella shenanigans, i ll die and not see the end of RE og story line.
She rarely makes live play through of games. Mostly if its just RE. I cant wait for Peachy milky live stream playthrough of Re9 coming up March 3.
Two handgun bullets. One breaks the glass, the other kills the driver. Then stand back.
Well possible typo error. We always know that only there representatives handle most X account of influencers and vloggers."I'll be cosplaying Ashley" while posting a picture of Grace.

Try to have at least 3-4 Requiem rounds when you have the heart and the lungs. Things are about to get ... chaotic.ugh, i'm glad I read your post
I tried with the Requiem. I tried with a couple clips of handgun bullets, and while I was able to break the glass, I just was never able to hit him.
I was gonna look for some fucking bazooka or some shit. I don't even know what I was looking for. I would've wasted a lot of time.
I'll try that again when I get back home later.
1st person can make things more tense(when things are in your face up close) but overall I think 3rd person overall is the way to go. Especially when it comes to Leon combat/finishers where it hotswaps to 3rd person anyway in addition I feel like not only do you see more of what's around you but I feel you can move and maneuver faster as opposed to 1st person mode.Nope, I don't like 1st person combat in RE games and there are section in Grace segment that made me glad I chose 3rd person perspective.
