Slimysnake from this forum said that the game only looks good in first street level and that the indoor lighting looks off. However, I disagree. The lighting looks incredible even in indoors. In fact the game looks photorealistic at times, especially with HDR. Playing it in a dark room with headphones on is a surreal experience. I also feel like this entry is way more gory and violent. The two camera systems are very interesting. The FPP camera definitely improves the horror atmosphere, whereas the TPP camera makes the lean combat segments easier to play. The RE9 is as demanding as UE5 games, but the performance on my PC is still excellent, especially with FG, which works amazingly in this game, even at generated 70fps, not to mention 100 fps. The PT performance was brutal in the opening scene (busy street), but later levels run twice as well, and I can use DLSSQ at 4K (instead of DLSSP) and still have a playable experience. That being said, I don't feel that PT makes a noticeable difference in this game, except maybe for mirror reflections. The hybrid RT in this game looks so good that PT doesn't even alter its appearance. With high internal resolution and RT hybrid set to high the lighting is fairly stable so I prefer to play RE9 with hybrid RT and even higher fps and better image quality (PT use RR that applies DNR filter).
