Let alone extraction shooters, it's not an extremely mainstream genre by any means. I feel like Arc Raiders is as close as it has gotten. Marathon could certainly be up there too depending on how they carry it.

You're not wrong, but Twitter is a cesspool, so that's just standard behavior. The Bluepoint thing doesn't even make sense. I agree that the timing is poor on Sony, but with any new release on the horizon it would've been poor. If anything they should've probably paused social media for a few days. But they either didn't think to reschedule baked posts, or the higher ups just didn't care to. I'm sure it'll pass regardless. I feel like majority of those people just retweet, bitch, and don't even play games, lol.

Absolutely and they will throttle how fast you can level them up in the full release as well via the priority contracts.
