Level editor features are basically looking like a legit Mario Maker

I don't know why the video in OP was using that godawful mario sprite instead of the normal one -- for me, that alone makes the entire game go from fantastic to garbage.

I wonder why Nintendo is so allergic to remaking their games like they did with All-Star for SNES. I'm still waiting for a gorgeous version of SM64, it was such a letdown to see 3D All-Stars get only the bare minimum from them.

I also want a remake of all their NES/SNES era Marios/Yoshi.

This, for some reason OP always goes with the esoterica guy. I suppose because he posts here, and he is a nice guy, but I wish he'd just post the official announcements rather than an overly long video from someone with a grating cadence of speech.

So weird too being that the other sprites look pretty decent. The running animation is horrible for Mario.

Again, that Mario sprite is not the default for the project -- in fact it's not even used anywhere in their announcement video. It's some horrible alternative sprite pack that ruins everything in that OP video.
