Not a hot take, character models, animations, and just graphics in general looked like a generation behind nearly every other game shown at the State of Play a few days ago.
If this is a 2026 release, it needs urgently a demo to make people aware of its existence.
The same goes with The Eternal Life of Goldman, which I predict will be high on the GOTY candidates if it releases this year. That game looks fantastic.
Crimson Desert, yes and The Blood of the Dawnwalker, and i've just noticed Exodus and that game looks interesting to me as well, not sure about Tomb Raider Catalyst though, i prefer the Legacy of Atlantis one personally
Pragmata, a game that almost nobody knew existed a month ago and the few ones that knew about it already gave up on ever playing it, is more anticipated than Slay the Spire 2. Something is wrong.
I can't speak for other people's taste and opinion but I played demo for 5+ hours and fell in love with the game.
Its new IP with unique mechanic and the "risk" is some people wont be into it......but isn't that want we want? We want devs take more risk and I'm more than happy to support that.
