So let's say everyone is watching a telecast and the commentator or sportsdesk person at 11 pm news mispronounces a person's last name. Or he accidentally labels someone from Germany instead of Austria.

4-1 with 7:50 left in the second now. Lookin good :] .

It's a shame that Russia's not here. Hopefully the war will be over by the next Olympics...

We have now won every speedskating event with gold historically. Like the 1000m, this was Kok's and Leerdam's playground.

Kok really ought to be called the female Stolz because factually, she is everything his equal: She hasn't lost for over 2 years. She has been 3 time consecutive world champion. She has a world record that defies even defies men allround times (Allrounders aren't sprinters).

And this race was bizarre too. Opening with 10.18, that's a men's opening right there. (A slow one, but still).

Klaebo might be the most decorated, but Kok is probably the most dominant athlete in Milan.

It got a little rough there at the end unfortunately, because Team France elbowed one of our guys in the head. Hopefully McKinnon's okay, and hopefully Tom Wilson won't be getting suspended.

Anyways, that probably means Canada will be #1 in the next round, which if I'm understanding this right means Canada will face either Latvia, Germany, or even Switzerland, Denmark, or Czechia depending on who wins the Latvia vs Denmark game, and then the qualifier between the 8th and 9th team.

Team USA probably won't have it much tougher. Czechia is a hockey country so idk what they're doing getting beaten by Switzerland. Maybe Switzerland got good at hockey while I wasn't paying attention :pie_open_mouth:.

I'm curious how much awareness of this he even has (he must have layers of 'people', right?) but even if it's all for PR, its a nice gesture instead of throwing a hissy fit or complaining about being racially profiled or whatever.

I bet his credit card company got a bit of heat though, as an order of chicken nuggets is probably the LEAST questionable charge on that thing :P

He didn't go order one of his people did, and the restaurant let his runner take it. It was a good gesture on his part to thank them for the generosity.

That's my point though. Does he have "a guy" who manages his card and could do all this independently? Did Snoop chose the food and place the order himself, just say "I'm hungry" and someone did the ordering, or was it bought on the assumption he MIGHT be hungry all without his direct involvement? Then were the tickets bought based on his decision, or does he have a PR guy that saw an opportunity?

Doesn't really matter, but I'm just curious about the logistics of that level of fame and wealth. I guess Snoop isn't sooo rich as to have an entire team, but then again, these rapper/hip-hop guys are known for their entourages.

I hope he has good business guys, But I hope he doesn't have people that manage his cards. That is a great way to go broke. He seems to be one of the better business men, staying on top of things and managing his finances. He just sends a guy to get food because he can't do it himself without getting mogged.

Why doesn't it feel like a real language? Is it because it simply sounds weird or is it because you hear similarities to English but it's gibberish at the same time? (Dutch is the language most closely related to English - apart from Frisian which has just a couple of hundred thousand speakers)
