Supergirl | Official Teaser Trailer

I don't know. I think that SuperGirl looks alright, actually. I am not saying it will be great. But, it looks "Better" so far than Star Wars and the Spielberg movie.

Most of the movies in 2026 looks really bad. Like, probably making the "all time" worst movie years top 5 list.

But, Star Wars troubles me the most. It looked really, really bad. Like, a meme of previous Star Wars movies.

Supergirl, looks like the Superman movie trailers I saw prior to Superman releasing. Which I thought, personally, Superman was the best DC movie in the last 15 years or at least since Nolan.

Yeah, im with you. I'll probably see all the big flicks regardless but supergirl is looking to be more interesting than Mando or odyssey at the moment. Though im sure im forgetting a few bangers.

All I'm saying is that A24, Neon and shockingly Blumhouse (The 180 they've done is crazy) have been entertaining me more than most big studios have for quite a while. I have AMC Stubs for easy nights out (can't beat the value proposition) and seeing IMAX and indie films in theaters.

Sure, I was only referencing Super Bowl trailers.

Not the smaller studio movies.

Of the trailers I saw other than Mario, I thought Supergirl looked the most intriguing.

Why would you expect a lot from Supergirl? The only Supergirl movie was made in the 80s and who remembers it? I hope they have budgeted this right. I do hope that it will be a suprise hit like Wonder Woman but I'm not counting on it.

Man of Tomorror starts filming very soon.

It needs to be a hit. Superman did ok. Superman shouldn't be doing just ok?! Blockbuster/Superhero fatigue doesn't help either. The Guardians/Gunn look makes things even worst. It was good a decade ago but now it's tired. Oh and I don't expect much from Spiderman or Avengers either. Both won't touch what they made in the past - especially Avengers. That said I don't know much about Clayface so will hopefully check that out.

I have no idea why they chose to make a Supergirl movie the next one. I can't imagine anyone thinking "wow, I really want to see a Supergirl movie. And I want it to feel exactly like a GotG flick!"

At this point they shouldn't release it at all and just write it off. Focus on Batman or Wonder Woman instead.

Same reason they're making Peacemaker season 2 required viewing if you want to completely understand what's going on in the next Superman movie, and Peacmaker season 2 ends on a massive cliffhanger but they won't confirm a season 3, Gunn is making bad decisions.

He still has Superman Man of Tomorrow, but after that I believe he's probably out after the Paramount merger. The whole DCU is up the air.

Looks decent. But it also looks like it's lacking the colour of the Woman of Tomorrow comic it's adapting.

Couldn't follow what was going on as all my brain could do was note every time a drum sound played.

Advice: Do not take a shot every time a drum beat hits. You ain't Supergirl and you can't handle that much liquor.

So Lobo is a good guy? Thought he was subbing in for the pirate king guy. They don't seem to be adapting the episodic vignette aspect of the comic but we'll see.

Not to ignite a synder war again, but I think his visual sensibilities would have ROCKED with this comic run, he has a much better flair for translating comic spreads to "live action" than almost anyone else.
 
I was rooting for this but it seems so bleak, drab, and unfun. Gunn's style of face close up followed by panning around with protagonist centered is so worn now
