I'm going to buy the Switch 2 bundle with RE7, RE8 and Requiem as soon as it goes on sale. Yes, I'm that guy that waits for sales. I'll also pick it up on Steam someday for $19.99...

It's a nitpick I know, but the only thing I don't like about Leon's character design is that to show that he's still "on the job" so to speak working for a semi-military organization, they gave his all this tactical or semi-tactical gear..........and then they were like, "Tactical boot? Nah, give him black lace-up tennis shoes".

The Ps5 Dual sense haptics feature on Re9 is underrated. It will be so immersive and fun to play using Ps5 dual sense on Ps5 and Ps5 pro.

I hate that Capcom keeps doing this Deluxe thing. In RE4 Remake the Deluxe had:

4 costumes, some filters, flashbang proof sunglasses, 2 exclusive (actually useful) weapons, soundtrack swap, (actually useful) extra treasures and map, 2 (actually useful) attache cases, and 2 somewhat useful charms.

I wonder if the gun is just a skin or something you get early with better stats than whatever the default in-game one is. I also wonder what the charm does and what the audio pack is. And what is "total of 5" or 4 etc mean? Is that how many are included in the deluxe edition, or how many are total in game if you add in the deluxe stuff?

I actually like the skins so I went with Deluxe. Even going back to RE2R, having the Elza Walker skin and the RPD costume for Leon made a big difference. To each their own. I played all of NG4 with the robot skin with the tail. It makes the experience feel fresh cause all you see are PR's of her default skin.

I'm going to try and go in as hard as possible. Taking the day off. Everyone at home is gone for most of the day. Best day off I've taken for myself in a while. Not that those days with the fam don't mean anything cause those are awesome too. I can't wait for Requiem to come out.

I think the Lady D costume will be saved for another playthrough lol

I'll be in too for the deluxe. I'll put in an order soon. It's not a great deluxe edition but it's not awful. There's also that extra costume for preordering. They could've done so much more though. Seems like a big missed opportunity to include more. Something like extra live action shorts would've been sick. Alternate scenarios A/B. There's so much you can do for these games.

Absolutely.

It bugs me they don't give you an exclusive avatar. What was also cool were all the themes. I've got a RE0, RE Anniversary, RE2R and a handful of other PS4 Themes. As someone who lived through the gamer tag generation and payed attention to everything they did with themes and avatars on PSN. It's a shame we don't get much for throwing them extra cash, especially when there's no early access.
