New Game Plus Showcase - 8th January (1pm PT // 4pm ET // 9pm UK)

I completely understand where you're coming from I've seen a little bit of it and their enthusiasm seems fake as hell
Enthusiasm for the medium isn't my issue with that they did here. I prefer when people like their hobby and they had exclusive access to some of those upcoming games anyway so it makes sense.

To make an analogy to sum up my issue:

1) People say that TGAs is a trailer show with awards in between.

2) This NGP showcase is like a podcast with trailers in between.

People will lose interest with so much talking in between. At least I did. Just show me the trailers and then do a dev talk/podcast after.

great analogy although I will say this show is bigger than I thought it would be I thought it would be an Indie Fest.

it's over time to fast forward through the VOD.
You're better off browsing the individual videos on their youtube page:

Also they put the games in category by genre on the steam event page.

I know that Luke Stephens has large enough industry connections to get exclusive interviews and new gameplay footage for larger titles, but I'll have to find out which of the other cast members also has this type of pull.

I feel like Luke Stephens couldn't have gotten this many good grabs alone.

Skipped through it to see if there was anything good. For the games I am interested in it was mostly interviews with no new footage and I have zero interest in watching these folks talk.

I did watch a small part of their conversation and good on them I guess, but nah. Not the biggest Luke Stephens fan either with his overly long videos in the past. This show was like what, 4 hours? Time is too precious.
