Hi everyone, glad to finally join in after reading NeoGAF for a long time. I'm into RPG and action games and mostly enjoy good discussion as much as playing itself. I love retro games and got into developing games for C64, Amiga, Atari, PC98, MSX and other consoles/PCs from the 80s/90s a few years ago. And as if that weren't enough, I've also been developing games as my main job for over 13 years now. :messenger_grinning: I am looking forward to discuss games and game-dev with you.

Hello Everyone, I am an engineering student and a (new) steam game developer. I just published my first game, project aftershock. I like roguelite games, text-based games, RPGs and my only criteria for games is having a rich story.

I think I first visited this forum in 2012 (maybe it was 2011🤔). It had to do with the then "next gen" leaks. So, as you can probably guess (my username also says a lot), I am most interested in discussions about the technical side of things. I hope that my penchant for order will prove useful in tech-related threads.

hey :] . same as the person above me. i don't like reddit or xsky because they discourage real discussions, and most places to talk about videogames are so toxic these days, or really insular, or too edgy for me. it's not like this place is perfect, but it seems like maybe the best going right now. oh, and i play PC games.

I'm from Norway, and have been a gamer since Commodore 64 and Amiga days. Still in love with retrogames! I own several Amiga's, but play mostly on emulators (Amiga, DOS, NES, SNES etc). Also a huge fan of DayZ, so I'm kind of modern too :D

Glad to have discovered this forum to learn about new games, and discuss about old ones! :))

My main platform is PlayStation but have a presence on Steam and the Switch too. Anyone else here like dipping into a broad range? In particular I enjoy the following types of games; RPG, JRPG, racing, fighting, strategy and any kind of online madness. If any of you are looking to grow your friends list on any platform or want to play/chat about any specific game, then feel free to shoot me a DM.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to talking absolute nonsense on here while getting some insights and laughs along the way.

Good evening. I'm mothman47. I've been using the internet since 1995, and I started being an active surfer since 2002. I'm 36 now, at the time of posting this.

I used to be an amateur voice actor, I suppose I still am in some regards. I'm also a composer- (though it reads weird when I write that) having composed tracks that featured in the game Beyond Citadel. I recently released a 55-track album titled Trinity, and I'd suppose my interest in Video Games went from attempting to be a voice actor that had roles in those games, to composing music, as music has far less restrictions and much more creative freedom. This is my hobby for now, but I'd like to expand on it and maybe one day, make it into something real.

I was very into videogames when I was younger, up until about 25, when life changed for me. I still game now, but I tend to stick to older IPs and very rarely step out to try something new, though I try not to have it cloud my judgement about the state of things these days.

I'm old school in a lot of ways regarding humor and ideas of self-expression, but I've been learning to adapt myself to the new generation of internet slang and media. I like to share old/obscure internet media with younger users so that we can share in the enjoyment of internet humor, but I love sharing music too, as well as whatever random factoid that pops into my head when the mood hits me.

I suppose, all in all, I'm glad to finally get the gumption to make an account here after lurking forever. I suppose I feel like now's the best time to actually just be part of a forum again after not being in one for almost 20 years now. So hi, nice to meet you.

Been recently lurking here but I've known about Neogaf for years. I mostly play exclusively on PC (and I'm a Linux user 😢) and I really only play on older consoles like the 360, 3DS, PS4. I enjoy classic anime, VHS collecting, metal of any kind, and old Sega arcade racers !

Thats about it really :P looking forward to chatting with fellow gamers!

Hi! Fellow europeasant Spanish 80's kid here, who started with an Atari 2600 and LCD handhelds ("maquinitas" as they were called at the time) and nowadays mostly plays on PC and Switch. I also did a bit of professional game development in Unity some time ago (not for big companies or anything, they were therapeutic videogames) and right now I'm trying to learn Godot for personal projects.

I've been lurking for years (decades?) and finally decided to join aboard to spread nonsense and madness.

I play almost every type of games, my favorite genres being 2D beat'em'ups, RPGs from both West and East, and coop games; I'm a total disaster at fighting games, though. Oh, and I absolutely love Dark Souls and their derivatives, so, yeah... I'm one of those to blame for all the soulsjunk that plagues everything.
