This is more credible and acceptable. Good too see Norman Reedus got his respect for best performance for Ds2.

I keep seeing this game winning this category in these awards shows, and I love FF Tactics...but it's a decent remaster to a classic.

I don't get why it beats out everything else the genre puts out this year that are new actual games , other than the people they get to vote don't even play stuff in this genre at all.

The Alters, Jurassic World Evolution 3, Tempest Rising, Two Point Museum, Europa Universalis V, etc. all better and great options.

Even Geoff's Game Awards show put Civilization 7 in this category as a nominee, when the community and anyone with a brain rightfully trashed the fuck out of it. Literal inclusion just because the franchise is well known, nothing more.
 
Ds2 deserves all the technical achievement awards. Death stranding 2 is really beautiful, very good technical performance and epic in scale.

Only 49 so far though. The others have 400-600, but I think it will still remain the highest considering its fairly weak competition this year. I don't see games like Silksong or Split Fiction stealing much from it.
