Am I blind or are they not showing the actual hours on here?
The last few years they haven't shown actual playtime on these, which is a shame since others (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo) do. Like you said, it's easy to look at one of your top games of the year (if you didn't play it in years past), see how much total playtime you have in that game, and calculate it out by the percentage - but it's a total pain.

Darn. I wonder what the reasoning is? Of course what jumps to mind is people being disgusted with themselves having so much playtime lol.

I think it could also be the kind of stuff you alluded to re: Skyrim - sometimes PC games don't close properly and Steam thinks they're still running which will inflate people's playtime. Who knows how many support requests they got about this in years past when these replays came out.

These are also designed (more or less) to be shared publicly, so people may be more reluctant to share if it proves they spent 4 weeks no-lifing Cyberpunk 2077 last May...

I love how even a guy named Diablo played Path of Exile more than Diablo

It is funny but since there is no D2R or Diablo 3 on Steam for some damn reason, it isn't accurate. I'd love to play them on my Steam Deck. I played more D3 than D4 this year. The seasons always pull me back plus I've been playing some great mods for D2R.

Soulstone any good? Been on my wishlist for a while. How's it compared to vampire?
It's great if you have crippling autism like me.

But kidding aside, if you like the genre its worth checking out. Good time sink where you turn your brain off, listen to a podcast and watch numbers go up. It's no Vampire Survivors but nothing is. I'd rank it on the level of Deep Rock Galactic Survivors. Solid A tier. There's a metric fuckton of stuff to do.

On my phone so just a few highlights.

I find the fact my most played categories include 40k and Dwarf, pretty damn funny.

11% new releases for me. That figure is likely going to single digits next year. I'm shocked it's even this high this year. Diablo IV DLC did a lot for that.

My Top 3 were Forza Horizon 5, Forza Motorsport and Diablo IV. Woof. Top album was Primus - Green Naugahyde. Never got into it much at release, but now it's been revealed to me that it is actually Les' opus.

The great majority of my time (86 percent) this year was spent between four games.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 in January/February (62 hours)
Darkest Dungeon II in March (75 hours)
Baldur's Gate III in April/May (200 hours)
Total Warhammer III in June/July (220 hours)

It was a really fun year. I had a blast playing a few new-ish games for the first time and also spending a lot of quality time in some modern favorites of mine.
