Best phones of 2025

Days like these...

Have a Blessed Day
I've got to agree with his picks for the most part. Glad that Mr whosetheboss has realized he is too popular to be afraid of Apple and Samsung.
I'm really itching to upgrade my Vivo x100 pro. I'll probably go with the X300 pro but the Oppo looks tempting.

I used to love Sony phones but they're lacking now. iPhone 17 is ugly AF so it was one of the few years that I'm passing on an upgrade.

That I might be interested in. Hopefully titanium.
Foldables have gotten to the point where they are light enough and thin enough to pass for a slab phone.. The only thing holding me back is I want the absolute best camera hardware on my phone and foldables are lacking that

im going for this

I just got a pixel 10pro XL after coming from a series of Samsung as iPhones and I have to say I really really like it.

I don't game on phones nor do I care about geek bench scores and this phone is neat, cohesive UI and has an amazing screen.

I'm pretty happy with it.

Absolutely gorgeous phone but too expensive for me.
I'd get it apparently there's a way get Google apps on there now. But I really I don't have $2500 to drop on a phone. I imported Huawei phones up until the ban. They are really good hardware wise. Spare the pearl clutching and "But the Chinese will steal my bleached butthole pics!"

Yeah, I've used Huawei phones before. Quite solid and premium feeling phones. I wouldn't mind getting one again if they were easier to get.

I have a Huawei Mate 20 Pro; back in the day, it was the best the brand had to offer. Six years have passed, and it's still very solid and robust.

It's one of the best brands I've used, and it's performed very well.

The claims about YouTube and Google apps being unavailable are simply myths or attempts to scare away consumers.

I saw Samsung's Trifold phone, and I didn't like it. The foldable design only has three screens, not two, and I found it cumbersome.

i didnt like it

Huawei is better

I still have a Pixel 7, but it's a great phone and I put Graphene OS on it. Pixel is the only phone that can use that OS until the Graphene phone releases which automatically makes it the best.

For me that's part of the charm, Sony's still feature a headphone jack and a micro SD card slot. And they refuse to stick a camera in the middle of the screen.
So far I'm enjoying the Google Pixel 10, though I wish it featured the above. The PowerVR GPU is a step up from the Adreno and Mali cores.

I think the Fold 7 will be my next phone. Need something easier to fit into a pocket or clip to my belt.

Well, everytime I mention Huawei the pearl clutching starts and the inevitable "Dey stole are jerbs , err mah butthole pics." As if Google and everyone else in America doesn't have them.

Well, I'd say there is a bit of difference between the CCP and google with that data but to avoid a thread derail I'll just head back to my bunk...

I still have a Samsung phone from 2018.

So what's with the massive triple+ cameras in the new phones and why do they stick out so much? I thought technology is about making these things smaller?

Bigger camera sensors necessitate a larger camera bump.

Tired of Samsung slowing down after 1 year. Not due for an upgrade but it may be a Chinese brand next, Samsung piss me off.

Until someone makes a quality phone that's thick with a big arse battery built in and no more stupid protruding camera sections, I'll keep replacing my old Samsung's battery.

It solves two problems and no one in their right mind cares about a few extra millimetres of thickness if it's clean and monolithic.
