Interested to see genuine impressions. Sponsored videos from the likes of Jack Frags are so disingenuous. There doesn't seem to be a single game he dislikes.

I mean most people have played the open test and the server slam… so nothing is hidden for impressions.
GAF is hyped, casuals are hyped, what specific info you want?
Why didn't you just try it yourself to make your own impression when these tests were going on?

I did. It was quite good. I won't have a group to play with so will probably not buy it.
In terms of specifics, I'm waiting to see how sweaty it is and whether there's some skill segregation etc.
Hope there also isn't p2w mechanics.

I play solo in this and other extraction shooters. I just go about my actions different than a group, really be selective of engagements etc.
As for sweat? You know it'll be grimey.

You know what... Never played those kind of games, I pretty much suck at PvP and really enjoy coop pve.... But seeing everyone so positive about this game... I must say fuck it, I'll buy the game on Steam now and enjoy getting my ass kicked for a long time... You know sometimes it's good to force changes in your habits...

Preordered and downloaded. I enjoyed the first closed beta and the latest server slam. Anyone here that wants to team up and have fun, let me know. I don't think I've been this giddy for a release since Destiny 1. Eager to dig deep into this one.

I was also thinking this will be the game that decides if I'm staying on pc gaming side or switch back to PS5. Already have a PS5 in the house, my kids use it, and sincerely if cheating goes rampant on pc (as sadly often happens) I might buy another PS5pro (disabling cross play) to play with the kids and call it a day on pc gaming. (Also using the same ecosystem could help spare some money when it's time to buy games to be played with them)

I played one raid in the server slam. Didn't make it to extract and got utterly shit on by a dude hiding in a corner. I have played 2000 hours of Escape From Tarkov, but haven't touched it much in the last year. In the short amount of time I had with this game I was convinced that I have to give this a shot when it comes out. Grabbing PC and Xbox versions.

The game costs money so I hope that deters many from cheating. I play delta force operations a lot and it's shitfull of cheaters because it's free and people just create a new account. Same issue with people cheating with low level accounts and trade expensive items for real money.
In delta force there is an item that you need to get the last stash upgrade and it's only available to find on a certain map. But that map is full of cheaters so it's almost impossible to get.
I'm still on the fence for this game. I hate all games with battlepasses etc trying to milk me for more money.

For anyone who has managed to get on, please be truthful: did they revert the graphics back to how they were prior to the recent public test? The downgrade was too heavy-handed for my tastes, and I would hope they have at least improved on the quality of the visuals to get the final game back to a state which matched the old videos.

Falling off of Battlefield 6 pretty hard at the moment so am interested in hearing impressions, despite feeling like the gameplay loop in this is ultimately pointless (loot, extract, die and lose loot, repeat) from what I played of the server slam.

Honestly all games are ultimately pointless, just grind and upgrade/unlock shit
I get bored in this game I start going on naked loot runs while watching TV just looking for elite loot store it in the safe pack so if I die I don't even care

Well it is about doing the missions and leveling you character & workshop. So this is progression you never lose. A little bit like a roquelike.

lol my first run was loading in, found a dead raider with full of loot within a minute, extracted with full inventory in like 5 minutes
