Battlefield 6 | OT | Time to Sheikh things up.

Sobek City is an awesome map. Had Operation Firestorm too and it was great! Pretty much all my worries with the beta are gone. This is the first Battlefiefd game also to release in such a polished state. No bullshit online issues with lag like previous games, getting into games is fast, they start up fast as well.

uninstalled mplayer, reinstalled it, still no joy.
AMD trx40 platform with threadripper, had the tpm issue with COD but upgraded bios etc. I presume its a network problem on their side unlocking content or something.

same, preloaded everything just to get this after a 400k queue, i hope someone gets fired over this.
 
I mean if you didnt think this was going to happen then you're extreemly naive.

I'm one of those people who said "Dont pre-order!" However after playing the beta and seeing the build up to launch i was very tempted to pre-order.

I will get this game for sure, but i'll wait till the bottlenecking dies down, probs buy it next week.
 
For the fellow console peasants you guys go with performance or balanced?

I chose performance and think it looks good... wondering how smooth balanced is and if it's worth switching
 
End up giving EA more money by buying the EA app version and instead end up with a broken version of the game. Gotta love it...

I would rather have a queue system than have the whole thing meltdown like Helldivers 2 did......for days.
 
How are the small map modes? I never could get into the newer Battlefield conquest maps. Also, how are the shotguns? Are we at BF4's level with the shotties? Talk about some great shotguns...
 
I got into a 32p shipment match. It was awful but looked and worked like how you'd expect it to, which was impressive and bodes well for user created content in Portal.

I think it's map dependent really, and I've had it with loads on screen and nothing on screen.

Hopefully it's something they can fix?

The refresh and the response outweighs it for me though.

These damned adaptive triggers on PS5 man. It takes like 5 minutes to disable that shit!
 
Fuck. I'm an idiot.

I had my mouse/zoom sensitivity and key bindings dialed in by the end of the beta.

Everything got reset (obviously).

I really should have took screenshots of my settings before the beta ended ugh.
 
Game feels so damn good.

I was playing and the fps was going to mid 30s. Checked the settings, for some reason it was maxed out on my 8gb 4060ti lol.
 
Played two hours now - damn this game is fast. Probably too fast paced for me. Or am I doing the wrong modes?
It's spawning sprinting, shooting, death. Every minute. Is there a mode which is slower paced, like Squad or HLL? Where staying alive actually matters?

You're not wrong, the smaller maps are fucking brutal, just hoping we get something cool out of the community designed maps. Some combined arms BF stuff would be nice, the small shit is too spaztic.

There used to be a small subset of players into the close quarters stuff back in the day, but I never touched those for the same reasons.

Game running amazingly well, but there is definitely vram memory leak issues and when it happens the fps drops a lot. I had 70-80 fps on firestorm first and something felt off, checked my vram usage in the menu and its exceeded 16gb... After the restart i got 170 fps. Hopefully it will get fixed fast.

Played a round on the other Egypt map. Not sure how i feel about it. The maps are definitely the worst part of this BF and i really hope larger ones are coming
 
Need help. Have the game on steam..beta was playing fine. But when I wanted to play today for the first time, it auto updated the game. Fine. Double click to play, I get the battlefield pop up and the white bar either goes green then a black screen or just get stuck at the battlefield logo then crashes back to steam

What gives the beta is fine. And people are playing and I am not is bugging me -_- lol
 
How the heck do we apply skins to vehicles?

I figured out how to do it with weapons and soldiers but i dont see the option on vehicles anywhere?

im not in game at the moment but i think it's right next to the "Appearance" button you hit to customize your class skins. I thought I saw a vehicle button right next to it.
