My lizard brain keeps pressing the B button to open the inventory / map screen.
It's gonna take me a while to get used to the new shortcuts.

I mean, Bethesda will keep the Creation engine regardless. They've already announced they are using it for ES VIthe problem is that this combination does not suppor indoors and outdoors at the same time.
Everything is instanced in gamebryo.
It stutters heavily in 60 FPS. The reading on my S95C is that the game is mostly within 48 - 60 FPS, but there is wierd random stutter in open environment. This is probably the worst 60 FPS game I played on Pro in terms of FPS variability. I am playing with SSR and motion blur on with default FOV settings.Well more than one saying it so guess it is just me. Like I said, I've noticed some stutters here and there, but for the most part it has been fine.

Bit stuck with ultrawide 32:9 as the resolution can't be changed, even when editing the gameusersetting file it won't register. I am stuck with 3840x1080p instead of 5120x1440p and it looks off. Also, when turning the camera there is a weird effect going on. Kinda looks like motion blur, but not intentional (I have motion blur turned off) Does seem good though outside of that, hearing the music and doing the sewer intro brings back some good memories.
Found a solution, forcing the GameUserSettings.ini config files seem to have worked.
Simply, go to: C:\Users\%username%\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\Config\Windows
Locate the file called "GameUserSettings.ini" and edit the following to this for a 2560x1440p image.
DesiredScreenWidth=2560
DesiredScreenHeight=1440
LastUserConfirmedDesiredScreenWidth=2560
LastUserConfirmedDesiredScreenHeight=1440
I've seen more people complain about this, but I'm playing on my 2nd display (a oled tv) and didn't have that issue. Game was set at 4K by default for me.Just booted it up and the game is fucked on multi-monitor setups. Won't let me select anything other than 1080p (which is one of my secondary monitors native resolutions) despite it displaying on the 4k OLED.

EDIT: The Oblivion gate area in the open runs more like 30 FPS.It stutters heavily in 60 FPS. Is there any point going with Quality mode on the Pro aside from higher resolution? Do both. 3rd for exploring and running around. First person for looting and combat.Fuck. I hate when I have choice.
I can't decide if I prefer first person or third person.
$75?Hmm, do I want to pay $75 for this... I'm tempted, but it also feels wrong.
My impression was that it definitely looked better, but I cannot pin point the reasons why in technical terms.Is there any point going with Quality mode on the Pro aside from higher resolution? When I played it years ago it was 30 FPS and it is not like I could not stomach it anymore.

I always restart the computer when switching displays to avoid windows fucking up scaling. Maybe try doing that, might help.

Any stuttering / framerate issues in Quality Mode?My impression was that it definitely looked better, but I cannot pin point the reasons why in technical terms.
This, seeing tons of bandits in Daedric armour was a bit annoying.Any word on if the levelling was fixed?
Only played shortly in Quality, since it gives me nausea even with motion blur, although I will report back when I do.Any stuttering / framerate issues in Quality Mode?

This DEMASTER is S O U L ESS!!!Don't push it. Someone will unironically argue the original is better.
Happens every time.
Oh no, I don't touch the cables. With switching displays I mean just doing windows+P and setting it to display only on my TV, which as I said is my second display.When you say "switching displays" do you mean disabling the other display entirely or switching which one windows sees as your primary display?
If I have to unplug displays then I'll just play it on my other machine which only as one extra display set up on it as a photo album viewer, that way I can just unplug that one without it disturbing anything that I need to use for work.
$75?
Damn, didn't realise Asmongold was in the game.They made the skooma addicts pretty easy to spot, I'd say….

I purchased the game from Fanatical™ at 17% off so that I can play on Steam™ using my Nvidia™ GPU and AMD™ processor.
That way I can take advantage of playing a single copy across multiple PC's™ and my Steam Deck™. It also grants me the option to also play via GeForce™ Now™ on the Cloud™.
All of the above work with shared cloud saves so progres carries over from PC™ to PC™ to Steam Deck™ and GeForce™ Now™ and other way around.

What currency? US dollars is $50.That's what the PS5 version costs here.
Edit: Oh, that's the Deluxe Edition, I don't need that. The base version is "only" $62.
Wow that lighting is really subpar yes, let alone the random ass placement and random asset drop.Funny how sometimes this looks "nextgenny" and sometimes it looks like shit that makes Avowed look like masterpiece.
And I am sorry but after KCD2's nature, I am just not vibing with his procedurally generated slop

Rule 34 lets go
This was in the oven for yearsI'm happy that this game is back, but what frustrates me is they added again a woke agenda of twisted gender ideology by setting the games character creation with a default Type A and B instead of male and female. Common sense is back in our world, but why cant gaming have it too? Just saying.
