I just re-up in windows when there's a bunch of games coming out, good time to get some other recently released games that I don't plan to buy but still interested in playing.

RT at 60fps, seamless loading, and all this visual fidelity in open world ?

To be fair, I was right. Aside from minor tweaks it looks roughly the same. I think the only thing that improved from the trailer is VFX now showing up in RT reflections. It's not a massive leap over Miles in graphical fidelity but it by no means looks bad, it looks great actually.

I'm far more impressed with how they have leveraged the streaming. That Sandman fight looks amazing. Friday can't come soon enough.

If you are gonna count Spiderman Remastered then you should also count TLoU: P1, Uncharted 4 and The last Legacy. 4-3 is not that bad.

I'm not happy with ND's output so far as they have only been re-releasing previous games but they do count as something.

Edit: I literally in the halo using unreal 5 for the next title posted they need to just shelf halo for a decade and give us a new gears game. Others responded asking where is the next gears title.

I'm no saying there's something wrong, but Insomniac is the only PS studio who proven to work on a consistent way with multiples teams. And yeah, Insomniac is a exception, because of that I think Sony need to replicate that in their others studios.

They put out an entire other game besides those… and a remaster + DLC. And Wolverine is two more years out at most.

They are obviously incredibly efficient when it comes to output.

ND and most big studios have multiple teams lol. The issues stem that generally one team makes great games and others make “eh” games. Even then, they all represent the company as a whole, so we a consumers just want quality products in a reasonable time frame.

This 6-8 years to see a new ND title or any studio for that matter is absurd and needs to die out.

Ubisoft Quebec/Ubisoft Toronto have 600+ employees and release less games. I'm not sure what examples you could use that release more high quality games in the same period with a similar number of employees. Even the CoD developers are on 3-year schedules to pump out the next one of those.

You can also add Sunset Overdrive, which is really solid, to the mix. That's 5 games and 1 large DLC in 9 years.
