Yeah, I'm going with don't bother putting sex scenes in your video games unless you're a sex game. I've seen David Cage attempt it and I'm convinced that person has never had sex before doing that scene.
The best sex scenes in videos is likely what someone said before, a hentai game. There's a bunch of 3D hentai games that have all kinds of customisable 'avatars' that put anything else to shame. The last one I saw was one of those Sexy Beach games, and that was very many years ago, it's bound to have gotten much better.
Well, as long as they aren't focusing on loli content, or stuff like Battle Ra*** or that weird stalking game.

What can I say? It was too easy. I do honestly think it is the best sex scene as it was tasteful and not at all "porno", it was a little hard to watch, pardon the pun, for the right reasons, it really humanized Abby and Owen.Well that didn’t take long, and entirely expected.

the only good one i can think of was in wolfenstein the new order. i like cyberpunk but the sex scenes were so bad, like badly made softcore porn. fade to black would have been less cringey

Agreed, this is still the best game sex scene ever. The actual sex scene is like over in 30 seconds but like every single quest in Witcher 3 you have this juicy set up leading to this that feels like a date that just builds your anticipation, and then you even have a conversation post sex. It's so involving and natural, and not canned in the way Bioware does it or other games where the player has no input/ involvement leading up to it. Not that the sex scene wasn't well done, it's a lot of skin but it doesn't linger too long to feel gratuitous.
That shot is a bit over the top but within the whole scene it's not excessive I don't think:
