Ehh I loved the original Dead Island.Love these entirely CG trailers ending with a plea to preorder. I know that’s the name of the game these days but who the fuck preorders without so much as one second of gameplay?
A perfect example, the first fucking game. One of the best, most famous trailers of all time. And a total piece of shit game.
Is there a link to the gameplay video? I can't find itLove the gameplay shown, was wondering how much of a step up everything would look from the older titles and I was impressed.
I am pretty sure that these guys do. You have to remember that the mainstream audience for these games is far beyond what Twitter and Reddit analytics will show you, and I am pretty sure that this group of people is being used to test how far the pre-order logistics can be pushed, such as an example of giving players less and less for their pre-orders, because it didn't used to be the case where you get early access just because you pre-ordered a game, but now it is, but wait, it's not enough to just pre-order anymore, you need to pre-order the most expensive edition now, only then will you get to play the game earlier than everybody else, thus it will make you feel special while they will make an extra $10 from your happiness. I am glad that I am in the position where I can't afford pre-orders, maybe that saved me from being blinded by FOMO.Love these entirely CG trailers ending with a plea to preorder. gameplay trailer looked sick, so much better than sth like dying light 2
I am sorry, I couldn't tell, it's pretty late at the moment and I am swimming in my mind.Rhetorical question. Yes, I’m aware plenty of these people do this.

Damn, they took all the money they could get
I can afford pre-orders but I won't, I stopped a LONG time ago. There is no point unless you get a discount. I order games I know will be good and I know I will like, at a discount from places like greenmangaming. A game like Elden Ring is one.I am pretty sure that these guys do. The gore looks mighty fine and the zombies have a more serious, less cartoony look compared to DL2.
Also i like the tone.
I'm in.
Definitely looks better than I was expecting. Though I still think it's funny that the game is a sequel to Dead Island, but doesn't take place on an island, lmao.
This game went through development hell yet somehow actually have a game thats coming out soonish and looks good?
Yager - > Deep Silver - > DamBuster
Well this looks a lot better than i expected
Honestly they need it. I think the Developers changed hands 3 or 4 times already?>Amazon

What the hell is Alexa Game Control? Shows up in the listed platforms at the end.
Exclusive to North America, Dead Island will also feature Alexa Game Control which allows players to use their voice to “seamlessly interact with zombies, change weapons, navigate the world of HELL-A, and more.”
“We are excited to debut Alexa Game Control in Dead Island 2,” said Steve Bernstein, Director, Alexa Games. “Gamers will enjoy a more immersive gaming experience by using their voice to goad zombies, ask for help, activate special abilities during combat, and more, without having to say “Alexa,” use an Echo device, or purchase any special hardware.”
Use your voice to interact with NPCs, swap your weapons, and much more on your favorite PC and Xbox games.
