But this stuff is obvious. When you look at people like Amanda Bynes, like Demi Lovato, and to a lesser extent people like McCurdy herself and Selena Gomez... You know Nickelodeon is fucking rotten. Child stars don't grow up to be THAT fucked up unless the adults involved are just being massive douchebags, and even potentially abusive.

Same thing with the "Mickey Mouse Club" graduates -- Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and others went through periods (in Britney's case, arguably STILL going through an extended period) of just super wild periods involving mental breakdowns, drugs, or simply over-sexualized behavior that goes beyond the normal. So I've can only speculate that some fucked up shit may have been going on there.

Many parts of the entertainment industry are just fucking rotten to the core.

Well, he was in a position of trust/responsibility during the formative years of their life. Most child victims blame themselves not the abuser. In order to kill someone, you need to feel they deserve it. Most want to kill themselves not the abuser......

And who's to say the parents didn't know or even encourage it? Many parents of child stars want them to become more famous and make more money. A lot of people had to be ok with this for it to happen on the scale that it did.
