You're welcome. Two more tips than the OT doesn't mention yet:
Hit trees often. You can get three wood pieces per tree, and all trees reset after collecting from 10 trees. You'll need this later if you want to use the optional housing system. Even if you're not interested in building a little home for your characters, doing so does unlock various rewards. Look into it when you're a little further into the game, but you can start collecting wood at any time. Aside from that, you should be picking up everything you can already.
The other tip is be aware that when doing a trial run for the current banner five or four star characters, you always gain energy much faster than you do in the actual game. This means you can use a characters burst ability far more often. If you're not careful, you may get the impression that you can use their most powerful ability a lot more often that you'll actually be able to. So be sure to watch some gameplay of each character outside of the trial, and maybe also check to see if the person playing has unlocked a bunch of constellations or not.

They would be a decent pair for a melt comp. Klee is kinda selfish. She mostly benefits from her teammates' abilities that stay on the field while she's throwing bombs. Ganyu's abilities do that well.

I don't have experience with Klee or even Ganyu for the matter. But seems like Klee is a heavy damage dealer, so any skill or burst that remains active during character trades seems to be reasonable with her.

All her skills go directly into Venti's swirls and stay there. Ganyu can be built for the high Ultimate uptime so it's also a very simple/efficient combo. Even if you build her like a heavy solo DD you can use her skill to apply cryo and also still get some of that sweet sweet melt action ;D

Klee C2 is pretty great across the board since her elemental skill provides DEF down. Only 3 characters can do that debuff and it stacks with any individual resistance down. She's obviously strong as a main DPS right out of the box too.

Ayaka
- Ayaka’s constellations got reworked but it’s not confirmed how
- He guesses either it’s a 80% damage increase (like Eula, Hu Tao and Xiao) or its a mechanics change (like Kazuha and Ganyu).
Yoimiya
- 5 Star Pyro Bow
- AA similar to other normal archers
- Charged shots will result in AoE pyro damage
- E will apply pyro to her normal attacks, becoming a gatling gun (similar to Hu Tao, where the E is an elementally infused version of their normal attacks).
- Q is off-field with multiple hits, but it’s not too many hits and the pyro application isn’t that good.
- Multipliers are significant though.
- The hit frequency is roughly similar to Rosaria.
- Exact talents and constellations unknown.
Electro MC
- Electro MC’s Q and E will both do energy recharge for teammates
- (In the uncles opinion) it will better than Anemo and Geo MC in terms of combat value
Sayu
- 4 Star anemo claymore
- E short press is a quick burst of anemo damage
- Hold E becomes a ball that can roll (20s duration, does not consume stamina)
- Q throws out Panda Daruma, creating a stage and healing teammates who are below 70% while dealing anemo damage to (presumed enemies but it could be to whoever is in the Q) above 70% hp (The ult description was phrased vaguely so it isn't clear)
- Her Q will lock onto 1 enemy, second ascension talent turns it into aoe, similar to Diona's in terms of area Quote
- "Seeing as how sayu is carrying a panda daruma on her back, it's not hard to imagine that she will become a panda ball upon pressing e"

My Eula is getting sufficiently strong now, and she absolutely mogged Childe weekly boss tonight. I think the whole thing took less than a minute including load times. Gotta love it, and I'm still only running mishmash Gladiator artifacts on her at +16. Can't wait to see how strong she is with her real set.
Speaking of bosses, I got 2 prototypes this week, good shit. Only one refine left on my Prototype Amber and I think I have 6 bow prototypes now for whenever a worthwhile craftable bow comes around. Hit Rank 9 on teapot, the last island is....ok. I'm still deciding where I want to make my little beach paradise. Fountain is cool though.
This Mimi Tomo event is fine, but they really need to make something that takes longer than 5 mins to complete. All of these events have been so hollow lately. I just hope Inazuma is worth it when it releases if that's where they're dumping resources.
Do we have an official date on 1.6 release yet?

It feels like the prototype drops have improved lately, but I still never get bow prototypes, which is the only one I really want at the moment.
Agreed on the latest event. Mimi Tomo suffers from the same issues as most of these mini-events: It's repetitive and shallow. Do the same things in the same order and finish with the same fight, for 7 straight days. I wish they'd find way to mix up the fights a bit more. Sunday's fight with him took about a second since you can knock him in the water for the quick KO.

Earlier this year I had a bunch of prototypes that dropped within a few weeks of each other. Haven't gotten one now for months. I don't think drops have improved at all.

Yea there's no reason why they couldn't make the hilichurl stuff an ongoing overall event story instead of the same bullshit of giving them seeds and fighting a handful of treasure hoarders. The daily fight with Wei could be a little more too. Mix in some tough ass enemies, it's in the overworld so there's no penalty of death, let's make it a fight. I actually tried to not hit him into the water yesterday, but he fell in on his own. I was just

Yes, it's Alice who likely sets up the whole Dodoking thing to get Klee a vacation. I can't wait for her to be playable. She has really interesting lore. She has some connection to Earth, because she has the record player, and is the one that gave Barbara her book on Idols which is clearly based off of modern day Japan. Also, she's the only character (besides Klee) with Elf ears so far. I suspect if we eventually get the whole "Genshin is a simulation" thing, she'll be one of the masterminds, or at least one of the ones "in the know".

She makes her sound like Klee is a Dark Souls boss. Daughter of the Evil Flame.

I don't think so. Traveler lore and the Playstation exclusive gear implies that they've been through many, many worlds over a period of hundreds of thousands if not millions/billions of years. I suspect that Alice is just somebody from another world or someone that has had contact with someone from an "earth" like realm. Or an Administrator (again, if they go the simulation route). It's a little fucked how basically everyone underestimates traveler when they are essentially even above the gods of Teyvat as far as experience/power level. Also makes you wonder how they jobbed so spectacularly to the goddess in the intro cutscene.
I think that one of the best story directions that this game has taken was to make it seem like the travelers are just common joes in Teyvat. It's also probably why we never actually talk despite having VAs for both male/female travelers. They even go so far as to have the traveler play along in the story so that we, the players, are mostly unaware of it too. The Dainsleif quest shows that they know a WHOLE lot more than they're letting on in the relatively simple story in Teyvat so far. Even Albedo was trying to get something out of us during his Dragonspine questline. I personally believe that Traveler was playing coy with both him and us during that quest, making themselves seem like they are just entry level JRPG characters. I think that ACTUAL traveler power level is going to be the first big twist in the game. No chance they leave this story in the vector that it's going now, it's too predictable this way.

Ahh right. So in that sense, it would just be another world they traveled to and experienced. And yeah I'm glad they took that approach with the protagonists. We're probably well aware when it comes to the universes mysteries, but it's Teyvat's that's a different case. I do hope if they're going for the Honkai connection route they do it with tact rather than make it blatant.

Bought the shop wishes and burned the standard banner ones, got a second Amos Bow. Nice. I was nowhere near pity either. I don't know who else would use it, but maybe I'll save it for Yoimiya instead of refining the one Ganyu has.
Also, don't forget double talent books for the next 5 days, 3x a day.
I tried the level 88 Resistance book one today, those icicles are a huge pain in the ass combined with the stamina drain mechanic. I stupidly brought Barbara inside as the usual healer for my Pyro team, so I had to eat quite a bit of food to survive that one to prevent from being frozen 99% of the time. Next time I'll bring Jean.
Also, don't forget double talent books for the next 5 days, 3x a day.
