If were just talking about movies/music it would be:
  • spotify
  • youtube premium
  • netflix
  • amazon prime
  • disney +

and that is it. I do have that Shonen jump subscription and was thinking about getting one of those comic book subscriptions as well. I probably should cut my amazon prime since I never watch it and barely buy anything on it.

Netflix and amazon prime.

Wife accidentally signed up for prime, forgot about it and auto renewed. Barely ever order anything and don't use the streaming service often at all. So two years of that for not much.

Have access to disney + through family account.

Have had crunchyroll on and off but haven't had that in 6 months or so.

Remember when a lot of us switched to Netflix or other services to “save money”?

Now you end up paying more or about the same when you add it up all together. Sure, you may get more contwnt and convenience but the dollar amount is affected.

I got bills, they're multiplying,
And I'm losing control,
Because the power they're supplying,

Is basically electric, very cold for this time of year. The bills are massive. (Electricity).

Online things, just internet. Been with my ISP for over 10 years, I was a couple of weeks late with my last bill and the fuckers texted me they'd cut me off. (Yet included a "we know things are hard during the pandemic ... ").

One phone call later, 50% off for a year.

Online things I don't sub to anything anymore, nothing interests me enough. Burned too many times. Just not enough new content I'd like to see that would equate to value, be a waste of money.

Got the hulu,Disney, espn bundle for like $18 a month.
Crunchyroll, PSN+, Spotify. That’s probably about it. I had HBO max and Xbox gold for PC, but never used them so I canceled them last month.

Gaming
Playstation + €59,99 per year
PS Now €59,99 per year

Ps+ is the only service I wouldn't miss. The rest I will probably never cancel. And I always get the premium ones so I can use on all devices.

None. I prefer to buy my games / music / movies and I don't like to waste time on TV.

I was subscribed to Gamepass for a while though.

- Amazon Prime (it‘s like half the cost in EU compared to US)
- Netflix HD / 2 users plan (I had the 4K one but back then not even their originals were 4K)
- Disney+
- Apple One Family (the highest tier that exists here)
- PS+
- Xbox Games Pass Ultimate
- EA Play on PS4/5 (had on Xbox too but thats included in GPU now)
- A handful of cheapish local streaming offerings (like TV Now or Joyn)

I had Spotify for PS4 music playback but I barely used that so I canceled my plan. Apple Music is my daily driver anyways.

I‘m not that into the movie / tv streaming services (Prime, Netflix, Disney+) because I feel like they only have crap nowadays, so I mostly go back to buying movies or shows from Apple (TV Store / iTunes) since I‘m pretty deep into the Apple ecosystem. At least that way I can watch what I want to watch instead of browse lame streaming catalogs for hours until something catches my eye.

Netflix is ongoing. I pay for the 4K option which is £14/month. if there’s something I really wanna watch on Amazon/Disney I’ll subscribe for a month then cancel.

Spotify is my music choice. I usually pay £120 annually. It’s due to expire next month and I want to try Apple Music cause I’ve got tired of Spotify’s dumb suggestions/playlists. Probably will stick with Spotify but wanna try something else.

for gaming I have no subscriptions. I did have Nintendo online but that’s probably just expired. I bought a year to play Animal Crossing online when it came out. for world of Warcraft I just buy a month whenever I get the itch to go back to it.

don’t currently have any subscriptions for services. I did have a vpn to watch region locked football matches but didn’t bother renewing. probably gonna sign up for extra iCloud storage because 4K 60fps HDR video takes up a shit load of space and the 5GB free is shocking. Try shooting more than a few videos or anything longer than 5 mins and it becomes a real hassle. Likely will go for the 200GB option which is £2.49/month.

my phone plan is £10/month for unlimited calls/texts and 10GB of 5G data but I still only use 4G when not at home.

I pay a subscription to a newsgroup and all doors unlock in plex. Seems cheaper. Also 5 dollars to locast.

Spotify Premium. That's it, and it's all I really need/want. I listen to music ALL the time, so it's great. I enjoy the Spotify playlists and it's great for discovering new bands. I used to listen to music and download MP3 on YouTube almost exclusively, but I'm really glad I made the switch to Spotify. It's worth every penny to not listen to annoying advertisements.

Sometimes I use my siblings Netflix and Hulu accounts, but there's barely any variety. Same thing with HBO Max and Apple TV. I was given a free subscription to Apple TV after getting an iPhone and I didn't even use it lol. I find most movie/tv series subscription services to be severely lacking, but I guess worth the monthly cost. Better than having cable, that's for sure.

Amazon Prime which I barely use for streaming. So much is locked to partner subscriptions.
Nintendo “online”
Audible credit every three months
Apple iCloud storage.

not too bad. I’ve tried a lot of different things over the years, but these are what I’ve stuck with

Wait until they start adding unskip-able commercials to everything.
