Mass Effect Legendary Edition | Official reveal trailer

Do you see 60 fps in any of the documentation? Please let know if I missed it
It needs to be 60fps
Yeah, but I don´t see any mention of 30fps... Really, if this isn't 60fps fuck it, I can play those at that framerate on my pc already.

From the OP:

It is truly incredible to see the adventures of Commander Shepard come to life in higher resolution, with increased frame rates and jaw-dropping visual enhancements.

Looks like a solid remaster with all the bells and whistles you'd expect. I'm down with this despite not being overly in love with the franchise. EA better announce Dead Space next.

They did mention improved framerates. But that can mean quite a few different things... And I don't think they will be doing 60fps on the Xbox One and the PS4. It's likely that the Xbox Series X and PS5 will get 60fps.

This has been leaked the whole year and they couldn't have a sooner release date damn

Looking forward to 1 and 2 hopefully they don't fuck it up

But will my Mass Effect 2 FemShep with red hair look the same in 3 as in 2. It really broke the immersion for me.

Ask me about my Stream Deck
I am interested, but would be more excited if they actually improved some of the janky gameplay elements in addition to any graphical overhauls.

Goofy vehicle controls, combat and interface in 1. Make the planet investigation stuff more than just filler in 2 and 3. Wouldn't mind seeing a bit more consideration put into the leveling one save all the way through all three games as well. How about some new side content too?

Great news overall and I'm excited to see more.

Does the Xbox 360 DLC ever go on sale? I've been looking at buying the trilogy in its original state but the price is ridiculous when you total everything up.

Totally agree, sadly.

If the rumors are true and they are removing planet exploration in ME1 and replacing it with planet scanning from ME2 then I won't touch this abomination. Doing shenanigans with the Maco is one of the highlights of my xbox360 era.

For some reason they do this at the end of the generation.

I hope the visual enhancements are worth it. Simply 4K is not enough.

Well I guess this means ME1 will finally have official controller support on PC. Hope to god they don't go in and "revise" the games for a woke 2020 audience.

Grunt > Wrex

(played ME2 first)

Also we all knew this...any goddamn details?

Yeah, exactly.

Like, great, its official - but that's it?

I was hoping to see a little bit more, even if it's like a 15 second snippet of gameplay.

This was exciting as God of War: Ragnarok reveal trailer - which wasnt at all.

Just as a reminder of what you can do with UE3 if you really, really try to put as much effort into it as humanly possible.
Batman: Arkham Knight, obviously....

And that's an open world game, where as ME games had pretty much compact and linear maps with a few bigger ones here and there. Will see if these remasters can compare with this game.

P.S. Sorry for 1080p screens, don't have the time to make 5K ones to make this game really shine.

Everybody's getting excited wayyyyy too quickly about this. We need to stomp on the brakes here.

This has been leaked for a year, and yet, in the announcement video, not one single frame of gameplay. Also, the game is, at max, 6 months from launch.

What is the likelihood that they converted the games from UE3 to Frostbite instead of UE4 or UE5? Is that what took so long for this remaster to happen? Is the game a buggy, glitchy mess as a result? I don't trust Bioware and I don't trust EA for a second when it comes to Mass Effect, they need to re-earn my trust and show gameplay, confirm the engine, and give an advanced copy to Digital Foundry for analysis.

I have never been a rpg fan and I found ME1 very boring and gave up after an hour but ME2 was one of the best games I have ever played. I could not put it down and played it at any opportunity.

Frostbite is a stretch but maybe they could port them on UE4?

I'm in if it looks good, My only hope is the change in ending but it's a pipe dream. It will always be screwed up.

I loved the original trilogy enough to double or even triple dip, but it also reflects the sad state of the industry when you have to rack your brain to think of any "problematic" elements that would be censored in a remaster/remake. Age of Empires being the most recent example.
What happened to Age Of Empires?
