literally at 8 this morning I secured another disk version. cam ,headset, an extra controller. I had to get my Sis to cop another controller. Everything is limited to one order per address. Also used paypal the credit card system was shambles. 1 of my mates lost his order ,because the bank app took to long with the 2 step authentication. Then all stock was gone. Now he has to spend his day looking online. Peak.

All I got left to cop is the 2 charge docks. I hope this is easier on release day & for those going into stores. Otherwise its just people wasting their time. When they can be doing other things.

This is not how oodle textures work.
oodle textures work on current hardware, too. This is just a texture compression with quality loss. Everything that is "compressed" via oodle is still compressed in memory. Therefore you loose image quality (like with other texture compression formats).
Also it is not the same with every texture. There are textures that can be reduced by a big margin via compression, and there are textures where compression has almost no impact. It just depends.

I'll tell you, that is STUNNING performance. In the real world, I think we've seen a lot via the Demons Souls trailer. Assuming that was straight gameplay (and no reason to think it's not) what was shown in warping between the stones was instantaneous. That's instantly (or for all intents and purposes 'instant') loading new levels, including new sounds, character models, maps, textures, EVERYTHING in literally the time it takes to put a flash and graphic flourish on the screen. That will be absolutely game changing, pardon the pun.

Don't get me wrong, the XSX taking just a few seconds, even if it was to be 10-15 seconds is also a vast improvement and game changer for next gen versus all previous generations. But virtually INSTANT? That is INSANE. I see why people are saying there really shouldn't be pop in and things like that. Because if the system can instantly load object, textures and the like..there really shouldn't be any pop in. Can't wait to get my hands on this and see it myself!

Is anyone even asking for Sony 1st party day and date on PSNow?

I see far more people requesting all PSNow games to be downloadable like GP. More PS1-2-3 games put on PSNow, or BC for digital purchases/more PS1-2-3 games to be put on the PStore for purchase.

I don't even see much call for earth shattering enhancements or cross saves, we just want to buy new PS5 exclusives, and play previous generations of PS downloaded onto one console.

All xbox exclusive RPGs like Starfield, Avowed, Elderscrolls, Fallout etc are going to serve as long term enticements for people to jump in xbox ecosystem, in any of the many different ways that its being offered.

microsoft with xbox, pc, xcloud, gamepass now has its hooks on such a big part of the total gaming market, that ps5 segment is totally insignificant.

Granted huge following was a wrong choice of words, but there is a market for it... FM20 has been downloaded 1 million times for free recently and there's potential customers for FM21 from their enjoyment of FM20... FM is very cpu and memory heavy game... However the PS5 has a mind blowing IO and the Tempest Engine to assist in Compute along with the Zen 2 CPU... So it's a miss from my point of view...

A 2.25 TF PS4 (25% according to MS). But that's only if we're comparing it to GCN, and we're not. They are both RDNA2 so it still = ~1.8TF.

If half - so, 11 - of them do, and only half are great, Microsoft have six great first party exclusives over the next three years. Your response will most likely be something something "they don't count" something something, and continue pretending that Xbox has no exclusives.


If I wanted to be as in-denial as yourself, it's easy to be negative about any platform holder. Let me try: what have Sony shown so far that makes you think they aren't screwed for the next 2-3 years? Ratchet and Clank? God of War: Ragnarok's logo? An USD$70.00 next-gen "remaster" of a two year old game? Their first parties take over five years to develop meaningful titles... so we're years away from the studios that matter dropping anything worthwhile. Why do you think they were so desperate to try and buy timed exclusives? And what if I don't want yet another cinematic third person action game?
