Vanquish is still fucking amazing. Should have stayed with PG* and made a sequel. His best game is Remake btw.

I love the evil within series. It has its quirks here and there, but overall I love them. As a long single player well crafted horror pieces, they are a rarity in today's industry filled with microtransactions infested GAAS bullshit. Would love to see more of those

Solid game although I liked the first one more, overall Evil Within just didn't get the respect it deserved and it's a shame we'll probably never see a third game, but at least the second one ended in a way that can work well enough as a conclusion.

I don't see how ew1 deserves respect though. It's way too long, clunky and bloated. For atmosphere? Sure. But gameplay sucked

There are some clunky moments but for the most part I thought the game was great, when it was trying to be a survival horror game, when it veers into action territory is when it would get clunky because the game was obviously not designed for action.

If you're an old school survival horror veteran like me though you're used to dealing with some clunky, it's the game I feel comes the closest to recapturing the spirit of those old survival horror games (fitting because it was brought to us by the man who basically created the genre in the first place), down to including a full color, well done manual, which it was probably one of, if the not the, very last game to do so.

I can admit the game has some flaws and I wish that it was better, but I'm willing to forgive it's flaws and love what's great about it.

On a side note, I love how the whole thing is basically a cross between Resident Evil and Silent Hill.

EW1 was great for 6 or 7 chapters then it went to shit imo with a couple of good chapters here and there. EW2 was solid all around. I really enjoyed exploring the tiny ass open world areas. I wish EW2 had more levels the size of the first main area. I didn't expect the environments to get smaller as the game progressed.

God Hand was a great game with bad controls. One of the funniest games I played on PS2. The game had some chessy songs that I still like to sing. I wouldn't mind seeing a remake/remaster with improved controls.

Yeah Tango is more or less the whole Vanquish team. Evil Within has never manage to become a real RE contender but the studio has a ton of potential.
