Yeah, i really believe calling it “Definitive Edition” has been a huge mistake since you’re not the only one unfortunately.
The original was open-world even though it was very story driven. You can drive freely:
Is the difficulty lowered for the console audience or what? I never played the originals.
It's a TPS now with a cover system, has an arc showing you where grenades land exactly, basically this gameplay works better on a controller while the original was designed around a mouse and keyboard. Classic mode promises to keep the hardcore elements like losing ammo when reloading too early and realistic traffic laws.
I LOVE the original, I honestly dont like how they did Tommy dirty by making him already look like a mobster and thug, along with the drastic voice change as well. Deff will pick it up, but not day 1Why on GAF nobody cares about this game?

Yeah, Mafia 3 gunplay as a base is not exactly the most promising thing in the world. But i’ve read they tweaked it a bit which combined with Classic mode should still provide a memorable experience.
I liked combat in Mafia 3. I will probably play this on normal but with simulation driving and classic police response.
There's Mafia 3 waiting for you.
