Choo choo
Seems like 5800X and 5900X will be the release cpus.
For gaming the 12 core 5900X will likely be flagship. How much do you suppose the flagship CPU will cost? Will it be called the 5950X?
No 16 core? For gaming the 12 core 5900X will likely be flagship.
I think the 4000 will be mobile only. Laptops and such.Wtf. What happened to the 4000 series?
Are they just skipping a number?
People got upset over 4000G series.Wtf. What happened to the 4000 series?

No 16 core?
Except that the ryzen 5000 series is pretty much confirmed. Who is shitposting now?Oooh another rumour thread! Awesome, now that the consoles information can't be shitposted because it's all out there, I guess we'll see these PC shitposts on rumours again.
No CPU can fix that mess. Terrible dated and unoptimised API needs to be fixed first.Tbh the only way I'm upgrading from my 3900x is if there is a significant boost in MSFS 2020.
There almost certainly will be
There might even be a 10 core as well if rumours are to be believed:
5700 - 8 core
5800 - 10 core
5900 - 12 core
5950x - 16 core
Tbh the only way I'm upgrading from my 3900x is if there is a significant boost in MSFS 2020. Apart from that I'm good because I'm not gaming at anything less than 1440p.
They wanted to skip the 4000 nomenclature to avoid confusion with mobile processors.Wtf. What happened to the 4000 series?
Are they just skipping a number?
Wtf. What happened to the 4000 series?

I want the top dog. How much do you suppose the 5950X will cost?
How many cores do i need to run crysis remastered?

The 4000 series is a mobile version of the desktop 3000 series. My Asus Zephyrus G14 uses a Ryzen 9 4900HS.I think the 4000 will be mobile only. Laptops and such.
Great, just make it X570 compat.
How’s the performance? The 4000 series is a mobile version of the desktop 3000 series. My Asus Zephyrus G14 uses a Ryzen 9 4900HS.
Top of the class for 35W, so far ahead of Intel they can only compete at 95W power draw. How’s the performance?
If the optimization talk is to be believed one is sufficient. How many cores do i need to run crysis remastered?
The Ryzen-part is short, start at 1:25 until 4:35. Dude was so nice to include timestamps on topics touched on.Can someone do a summary I don’t want to watch some shit video
wait, so even Tiger Lake on mobile is doomed?Top of the class for 35W, so far ahead of Intel they can only compete at 95W power draw.
As they haven't been significantly moving down in size or presented a mitigation for the current shortcomings AMD indeed looks like a Baus.wait, so even Tiger Lake on mobile is doomed?
Got the same setup, gonna wait for DDR5.Gonna try to stick with my Ryzen 2600 and B450 board until AM5/DDR5 are out, but this sure is tempting
Well isn't the 4750g basically a 3700x with an integrated GPU? I could see how people would confuse that with say a zen 3 4700x. (Easier I guess to call it the 5700x or so.)People got upset over 4000G series.
Sorry off topic but I just love your avatar, always get a chuckle when you pop up lolFor some stupid reason they used 4000-series for Zen 2 laptop variants.
Tiger Lake made the cap smaller for sure, but still not up there. Tiger Lake competing with the U series has half the cores, so any multicore workload crushes the tiger lake. Not sure if there has been any non-U comparison yet.wait, so even Tiger Lake on mobile is doomed?
So you're the issue. And don't go looking on AMD forums for Intel problems.I'd rather not ever touch an AMD processor for my PC. Every time I've had one, I've had issues. Every thread I see about "my PC is running like crap", it turns out to be AMD. They've been playing catch up since the 00s.
