Does SONY need to eat any more crow than MICROSOFT? They both have mixed messaging, Series X has plenty of next-gen exclusive games and they're even rumored to be dropping the X1 version of Halo Infinite now, and SONY has more cross-gen games than they made it seem they'd have, they both said the opposite of what they're actually doing.

Finally found someone shares the same feel about the event! I mean, I'm so pumped for Destruction Allstars being a launch title! The prices of the consoles are great as well. Now only trying to preorder, I think it's all due to the event being 12am here.
Now it's 5:28am, might as well take some coffee and be in the mall right at 9am and help them open the shop while at it.

I was going to have a meltdown if it wasn't.
Still shocked at the 2021 release date, I've been eagerly awaiting the sequel for 2 years now.
Moore'sLawIsDead did get the next year release date right as well as the teaser coming up in Sony's next event. If he is to be believed he did also state that the game will have "jaw dropping graphics which approach photorealism" which something they can't pull off on a cross-gen title, so his leak does seem to add up. Regardless, I'm so dam hyped!

Sony wasn't transparent enough, they said "We believe in generations" and that they wanted to have "games that could only be playable on new hardware". And yeah, they really have next gen only games, but they were also going the cross gen route from the beginning and didn't say a word until now. So we can complain about their cross gen strategy but they were telling the truth when they talked about having next gen only games, even if there are less than we thought.

Don’t feel bad had Best Buy and Target email me and canceled my PS5 DE pre order. My credit card has a 50,000 dollar limit and can’t even buy a preorder...lol. Amazon and Sony is my only hope. I think Sony either didn’t make enough PS5 DE or they are the hottest console at launch I can remember.

In addition, PS5 price reveal tweet got 240k likes just 1 hour after PS5 showcase ended. So, around 10k more than XSX/S tweet which was tweeted on Sep. 9th. Anyway, now is over 310k. Yep, PS5 is priced really well

It's post-covid19 lockdown so all the major hurdles the studios went through have past now, that's not to say another wave is incoming (I hope not). But with that said, Santa Monica still decided to slap the 2021 date regardless of the covid19 struggles so they must be confident about that date. This is just my guess but yeah I won't be surprised if the game gets delayed till early 2021, I really hope not though.

They're pushing the digital path and I'm all in. Went all digital with PS4 on day 1 and love it.
