AFAIK Microsoft wanted Bungie to only make Halo and that's why they broke free. It seems plausible when you consider MS trend of making franchise-specific studios.

They will definitely show some Forbidden West gameplay. The game is a year off probably, and on PS4 they showed PS4 gameplay 2 years prior the release.

I'd hope at the same resolution and frame rate target devs would be able to do more with 3GB of additional memory and an SSD. I guess we'll see.
Admittedly, I was hoping for a bit bigger of a bandwidth bump over the PS4, but I guess that just wasn't in the cards at $299.

I know we haven't seen much gameplay from Sony, but let's not pretend they never did E3 2016. It was all about demos, we got live demo for GoW (alongside its reveal), demo from HZD and demo from Days Gone (which was revealed on the same event). It's not like "they only care about cinematic trailers".
Same for GoT, they showed quite a bit of gameplay on E3s... I'm 100% sure we're getting a good chunk of gameplay on this event.

They did the QR demo on XSX months ago. There was talk in the Xbox community that this feature might not make it to XSS in an effort to save disk space. At least now we know the feature makes its way to the S also.

Not might, it already is an issue. See XOne X mode not running on XSS, that alone is a concern considering how hard next gen will push the hardware. I'm betting this is a 3 years plan that will lead to a hardware refresh OR they are betting hard that streaming will be decent enough during that time.RAM is a good point.

Why would games from the Xbox One X run on the XSS? What people don't seem to understand is that the XSS is a 1080p-1440p machine. The amount of RAM is suited for 1080p-1440p gaming. The GPU is suited for 1080p-1440p gaming. The SSD and CPU are suited to do the same thing as PS5/XSX. There is literally NO REASON for the XSS to support 4K textures of the Xbox One X games, they are too large, and the device was not built for that. If you want that, buy the XSX.
