Quantum Error is currently running at 4K 65-70 FPS unoptimized on the PS5
Why haven't I seen this till now? More in game gameplay footage for the next gen consoles :)

Since you mention me, I looked up his twitter, and the dude still stands by what he saidI'm seeing in the title that Dusk Golem said that he made it up. Can I see some sort of proof that this is true?
I knew he made that one sided comment but he could have just been withholding that information. Him saying that it's fake is a completely different story.

as I said since the very first day these news broke out, guy must be feeling very bad for the trouble he is causing his friends at capcom who told him what is currently going on.
its good to be in context and remember that this is a game sony pays for PR rights. so the developers, with this info leaked probably getting some pressure from upper levels.
never the less, never once he took back what he said.
I also saw people on twitter trying to corner him by asking him all kinds of bullshit, like what version the tools were etc.
I find this really pathetic. He was not asked to debug the freakin' game, he was just told in a friendly conversation the status quo.
also maybe you have noticed that no official statement from capcom to disprove him has been made yet. no "Both consoles versions are shaping up great at 4k/60" announcement.
we saw on the posts above just how fast jim ryan and the developers were to disprove the claim for that other game, which probably is magnitudes lower in popularity, budget, and even sony royalties paid.
I don't know how people now are saying that its tales from his ass, his other leak for capcom and SF6 sounded much more crazy and it came true. maybe its tales from their ass instead.
So if somebody has a source that is not in dust's tweeter feed, it'be good to post it for the rest of us to see.

Fanboys/girls from both sides are obnoxious (myself included), but too many Sony fans go WAY overboard when they feel their plastic box is threatened and they really do come across as the Info Wars fans of gaming.

I appreciate that even though you are a pretty hardcore Sony fan you can at least look at things far more objectively than your Sony brethren. But a few comments:
1. GitHub turned out to be real and people got banned in the spec thread because Sony fans threw tantrums, demanded people be banned and reported them any time anyone dared suggest it was real.
2. The case of Tommy Fisher is hilarious. Anyone with 2 brain cells should have be able to tell he was a fake and totally full of shit, but since he was saying what Sony fans wanted to hear (13.8tfs) they bought all his BS. I recall one of the clique bragging the day before the Cerny reveal bragging about 13.8 and calling Xbox fans clowns and losers until @Mod of War put a stop to it. I have NO sympathy for Sony fans that let themselves get taken by that troll.
3. Another one of the Sony super fans went rabid on John from DF and drove him out because DF hadn't made a video stating PS5 was RDNA2 before Cerny even revealed the PS5
4. 5. Not familiar with Brad Sams downplaying the SSD, but I'm WAY too familiar with Sony fans constantly overplaying it. One guy created like 8 or 10 SSD threads all by himself.

Cerny and naughty dog has a recent patent on the Geometry engine compression of vertices and shaders.
I hope its not standard RDNA2, we need some of that sauce.
What have you heard about the new ps5 Geometry engine ?
I would not be surprised if sony ditched VRS, as Sony have a patent on a VR version that does varable shading in mesh segments more suited to VR and wide angle view frustums (another patent). That is the RDNA2 missing.

There's no hurry to disprove this plus they have a marketing deal with Sony if I'm not mistaken. They probably want to demo the game on the PS5 at some point and that's where you will hear that information.

Exactly. I have never disputed PS5 is RDNA 2. I actually got into with people that kept trying to claim it wasn't RDNA2 right after the AMD conference.

Although I'm in the camp that it isn't exactly like RDNA2 on PC. There are customizations that make it different.
Not trying to argue which one is better but neither is your typical RDNA2 chip.

It may be slightly different than what's in a PC, but I believe Lisa Su herself said the PS5 is RDNA 2. That's close enough and good enough for me.

I think when it comes to performance Sony would choose the best bits out of RDNA2. Yes the PS5 is weaker but it's no X1 or PS3.

Yeah it's more powerful but so what?, you can give boxes of colors to two different artists. Give the more talented artist a box with 24 colors and give the less talented artist a box with 48 colors, I bet that the artist with the most talent is still going to turn in a more impressive work (even though he was working with less colors). Same thing, we have already seen that with the PS4 Pro and the XBO X. Microsoft's first party is not in the same league as Sony's, not even close... I mean look at Halo Infinite... damn... look at 'em 12 TFLOPS at work...

Yeah, you missed him admitting in Reeee that he brought up the PS5 fake 4K info FUD because after the Halo Infinite delay negative next gen news were "too one sided".

I believe it was from someone from Resetera who looked at the trailer. If you zoom in on the part marked 720P you can see how bad the texture is. Even from a distance it's noticeable worse than the one on the right.

Digital Foundry is not talking about an element that is quite obvious: Many elements in the image are in low-res. These are not mipmap differences. We can clearly see that it's low-res in the screen space at the shader level. It looks a lot like VRS 3x3. This raises a lot of questions...

github was real but far from accurate. it had outdated info like Matt said. the only thing it got right was the number of CUs. the ps5 has hardware rt, higher clocks, is rdna 2.0 and has lower memory bandwidth than what was in the github leaks. and yet, colbert, r600 and all the other guys dismissed Matt, klee, jason, and everyone else who said ps5 was in double digits.
and im pretty sure it was me and not LED guy who brought up that old screenshot again a few weeks ago, but it wasnt faked. it was originally posted way back in april by the discord insiders. i just didnt know Lady Berkenstal had already cleared things up with the mods in the ban justice thread back in april when all this went down. from what i understand, she said someone took her name after she left, but the rest of the stuff was definitely real since they removed some of the users who had made racists comments towards yoshida and banned all the new posters. if it wasnt real they wouldnt have acted like that.

The only thing I'll say is that I really can't trust an insider that participates in the console war more than one who doesn't.

It’s completely misleading. When I first read the title, i wondered why an anonymous leaker who already was proven to have inside info on Resident Evil 8 would just openly admit to making things up. what would’ve been the point of doing it in the first place? It’s not like they guessed something that was be proven false and have no choice to come clean
