No one has answered the question: how? And I specifically, before asking, was interested in whether this is possible. No, it is impossible, because the PC has a different scheme of working with memory, and too specific solution, as in the PS5 doesn't fit here. What happens to such specific things in general in the PC market? NOTHING. It doesn't matter how cool the technology is or how the technology evolves, on a PC it happens in parallel in its own way. It's always been like this. Consoles for the most part borrowed a lot from the PC, but the PS5 was made it too different from the PC. Yes, there will be some things about the GPU and CPU architecture, but in order for the PC to work as a PS5, you need to throw everything (yes, everything) out and create a completely new PC. And this in itself is nonsense and contradicts the concept of the IBM PC. Well, that's it.
If things weren't out to change because ofnte h improvement... We'd still be using switch transistors you fuck tool! But tech evolves so we're using silicon.
Smart phones have exploded in the last decade because of speed and efficiency and also ease of use.
AND THE PS5 IS STILL HARDWARE STRUCTURE YOU TIT! JUST CLOSED OFF.
BUT IT STILL WORKS ON CPU, GPU AND RAM! ALL WITH AMD PARTS!
NO ONE IS SAYING THAT THE PC GOING TO BE A CLOSED OFF SYSTEM. BUT THAT THE PS5 SYSTEM DESIGN COULD BE MOVED TO PC IF IT WORKS AND COMPONENTS COULD BE MOVED TO THE PC!
You can think what you like, have you own theory, PC master race yourself silly all you like. Because you seem to think that I mean turn to the PC into a console. That's not what I am saying.
The PS3 CELL processor design got used by IBM during production... How can't Consoles not help PC space??
But I'm tired of tell you be obviously despite pretending to be technical, you're far too much of retard for THEORY work. Never join and Reseach and Development department when your mind is too fuck closed off to think outside of the box.
PS. The PC market is now a niche hobbyist for gamer enthusiasts getting ripped off with $1000 dollar GPUs with little to no return, especially from Intel and Nvidia and Smartphones and tablets are the most purchased product in the last decade.
So it's not PC driving the chip sector, it's Mobile. Has been for a while. Mostly why Apple bought ARM.
Edit: Just the last thing.
First thing you asked me was how this was all possible and I said probably a changed motherboard design.
Motherboards change all the time!
The sockets, parts, size and PCB layouts continually improve. The brand new parts today you buy like the 2080Ti and Ryzens and I9s CPU won't work on boards from 10 years ago due to different sockets. Different sockets and connectors because of the constant improvements and change to motherboard architecture and chipsets. If the PS5 helps eliminate speed bottlenecks and makes better use of the SSD I/O, you can guarantee that the PC will want that.
