My FINAL predictions for PlayStation 5!

- 12.4 TF RDNA 2 GPU.
- 8C/16T Zen 2 CPU at 3.4 GHz.
- 16 GB GDDR6 at around 560 GB/s.
- NVMe SSD at 3.5 GB/s or maybe more.

Also with the hardware decompression as well that makes even super fast, like what the XSX has.

Get ready, folks! We are in for a RIDE!! 🔥🔥

Also one last thing, are you still standing by the 12.4 TFs that you’ve mentioned? OsirisBlack OsirisBlack

Sony going for MS head tomorrow and they gonna do it with numbers and PS5 secrete sauce first they gonna talk bout dualshock 5 new features second part is gonna be really technical with tech demos and last 2 new trailers never before seen.. if any of this doesn’t happen I’m requesting self ban

It's a GDC talk - there won't be any trailers. You might as well ban yourself now. Jeez at least read the itinerary first.

You're confusing the IDE aka Visual Studio with the underlying compiler used. Sony is using LLVM with the clang backend and not the cl compiler included with Visual Studio. This allows them to cross compile to the PS target.

Ok. But my point still stands, they mainly develop on the PC and then port down to PS dev kit.

Tomorrow at 9am Pacific Time, PS5 lead system architect Mark Cerny will provide a deep dive into PS5’s system architecture, and how it will shape the future of games. Watch tomorrow at PlayStation Blog

Yeah i know that's why i'm asking why there isn't a youtube and twitch streams. PSlog is going to go down a few times i bet.

Maybe dont be a dick my post was in relation to next gen tech regardless. Sorry it wasnt sony related
Lol bro that was a joke. I meant nothing against you 😂. But the post you quoted is how I feel about some of the posters here. Can’t stand “oh I’m neutral ass posters” when you can clearly tell they are biased.

We should have all the insiders place their final specifications before tomorrow morning, will be fun to see where everyone lands ( OsirisBlack OsirisBlack @HeisenbergFX4 WhispersintheWind WhispersintheWind @Tommy Fisher )

I only know what I’m told by Devs. On the record no Dev has went 100% detailed with any info. I Assume to protect their Job.

What I have been told is Devs are targeting 11TF for launch titles. Whatever overhead is left over they will use in the Optimization Stage.

With that info my speculation is PS5 is 11.5-12.5TF. It also fits in the range of both console being within 10% of each other. I don’t think TFlops will make the difference this gen. I believe custom features, memory,SSD design and Games will make the difference.

I dont think ps5 will be inferior i think it will be about 10% more powerful, but i do think the recent xsx spec deep dive definitely influenced sonys decision to release there spec deep dive tomorrow.
They probably dont want the xsx specs getting all the limelight.

Presentation tomorrow isn't reaction because MS. Like Schreier said.
Limelight, LOL. Man, just ordinary tweet for PS5 so far and social media metrics of this are already eclipsing the entirety of Xbox Series X engagement from yesterday. Btw. Sony's GDC presentation is planned surely. But program can change. I've said in one thread :
There a possibility to change GDC presentation program. I mean, maybe PS5 reveal was scheduled for Feb., but because corona it is postponed, and later Sony decide to change GDC presentation program and to include PS5 specs in that.
Btw. MS also has scheduled presentation tomorrow few hours after Sony.

The only thing Sony could change at this point is CPU clock and GPU clock. They could have had a few stable settings they were looking at, waited for Xbox to reveal their hand, and now can choose what they want to set theirs at.
